Another suggestion: get yourself a water bottle and one of those fancy bottle-cages that can host a multitool. Options include Topeak (which I own and like) and Specialized, as far as I am aware. Having a bottle at all times, even if you use an hydration pack, is a definite plus, and stashing the tool (which you should, obviously, always...

I would never, ever, ever want to go back to a coil fork. Coil rear sure, especially on a little dick bike that's getting hammered in the rear suspension, but why would you give up the air spring tuning?

1/18/2017 11:45pm thanks for the feedback everyone. @drewnobi, i'll see about overcast...we're new to all of this. @ahab, i've done 4 other interviews (and am doing a 5th one today). they'll probably launch every week or so for now and will try to keep the momentum up throughout the season. it's been really fun doing these interviews.

1/18/2017 11:36am man this is really, really, really interesting.. As said by that other guy in the rumours thread, we love the guys racing WC, EWS and all, and we know they're (most of them) down to earth, chilled, fun guys that enjoy what we enjoy and are just better at that. Since they're all super approachable, Eliot included ( when I marshalled in val di sole, in 2012 or so, I had the chance to chat with him and it was a memorable and fun encounter), it's nice to get to know them beyond their riding or the image portrayed through...

8/19/2016 2:52am Honestly, as much of a fan of Sam as I am, if Button is healthy enough to ride and give it a good go then he should by no means give away his spot to sam. Josh's had a fantastic start of the season, before destroying himself, and he should be rewarded for that!

8/16/2016 7:43am Don't be afraid to experiment with bar roll, lever position, different grips as well as suspension settings. They can make all the difference in the world, so keep trying and you'll find what works for you

4/3/2016 3:23am Both have their advantages. Since I am not racing at the top of the standings, I prefer flats for DH and Enduro races as well as general riding for the fun, the confidence and the good habits they teach me. Mind that most pros who regularly use clips spend at least a portion of the off-season on flats to get...

2/18/2016 10:31am be sure not to go too hard, and, if you're not interested in just shuttling DH, keep a 50/50 (or so) balance between gym and pedalling. And REST! Honestly, when you start out everything is great: after 2 years of working out on my own, I got a training plan from a cycling coach/personal trainer and now things have progressed...

12/28/2015 7:21am Nope, on mtb-mag that was discussed and disproved long ago. Gwin on a german brand (canyon or yt) and the two young frenchies replacing him is the safest bet

12/16/2015 7:44am I guess it's just because it's goggle compatible in the best way possible (unlike other helmets). Acadian is quite right though, I'm a big S hater but have found myself rocking gloves and bibs from specialized and they're pretty good

11/19/2015 12:58pm Nukeproof Mega owner (2013), would like to switch to the newest one. The LL tune surprises me, given the feel everyone keeps reporting. Is changing the tune a lengthy/pricey/tough process or is it something a bike shop can do? Plus, I have Pike 2014, solo air. I weigh 74k(156 lbs, says google) with riding gear on, ride the bike fairly...

10/14/2014 9:41am It would be amazing to ask managers if the proposition to have geographically closer races near in terms of time would indeed reduce the financial constraint, and whether there is a constraint in the first place( if 10 races are not feasible because no one would have enough money). Go on sspomer, you got the power!
