Cam Zink closes a chapter of his life which included 2 Rampage 2nd place finishes, 2 Guinness world records, mainstream media+tv appearances (uncommon for mountain bikers, tbh), and handling sales for what was then a nascent, but rapidly growing, gravity mtb brand in the USA. With all the riders YT has let go in the last couple of years (including unceremoniously dropping Gwin), in addition to recent moves to become more corporate, one hopes that the admiration they enjoyed as a brand will not be totally erased. Frankly, I think it will now be more difficult for YT to convince...

Carbon 1 with no piggy shock is pretty meh. What's the deal with these bikes still that can take long travel droppers yet are only 30.9mm? I'll take the slight weight penalty of a 34.9mm post for more stiffness (although are companies actually making the telescopic part thicker or just the outside diameter which defeats the purpose of a thicker dropper?)

Its a good deal, but Giant were going similar with a better spec some years ago. 38 with a dpx2 seem's a little out of ballance, spec it for that price with an X2 and that's a winner.

Ask Rennie about the idea of being replaced by the Syndicate. You could argue that it destroyed his career as he never finished his first season on Morewood and never raced again at a WC.

I think world cup dh sells so many bikes even if it's not a dh bike. A lot of people will see there favourite rider on that brand and then buy that brand's trail bike. So dh racing definitely still sells a tone of bikes.

ebikes and really bad youtubers stealing DH budget. It's up to you people, stop sharing these crappy videos of people doing nothing inspiring. As for ebikes, nothing we can do to stop the industry coddling to it.
