1/1/2019 12:05pm This is really a downer. It was really fun to root for Kate on an American Bike. I think Specialized whiffed on this one.

12/18/2018 12:30pm He raced the end of the season on the proto frame, Scott engineers probably didn’t want to strength test it on tv with rampage, like some have said. It’s an old bike with old parts he’s donating to charity. When you make money you have to give some away. Nothing strange there

12/10/2018 9:19am Given that the syndicate are the flagship for Santa Cruz, and that Santa Cruz make their own carbon wheels, it’s pretty unlikely that they’ll be using RF wheels.

11/6/2018 1:51pm What sense would it make? Commencal already has a team and they've put quite some effort building it. It's a team of younger people that already is pretty accomplished. Does anyone think money just floats around? The Athertons will obviously go to whom needs an image boost and values associating their image with them and I think they bring quite a lot to the table. And I also believe they are pretty good with product development too, which can't be everybody's thing. Some people like to give Gee shit for not being likable in their sense of perception (as if...

For me as an average joe, its not the weight that sells me on air over coil, its the how much easier/cheaper it is to tune an air fork. Tuning a coil sprung fork is a lot of parts to buy and install and uninstall in iteration until you find your sweet spot. With air, just you have to put an shock pump on it. For me thats a trade that is worth making. If you're one of the most highly supported athletes in the sport, ya have your mech and the ohlin's guy help you sort out a coil...

I would never, ever, ever want to go back to a coil fork. Coil rear sure, especially on a little dick bike that's getting hammered in the rear suspension, but why would you give up the air spring tuning?
