9/19/2023 6:48pm So this has probably been debated in the past but Cedric mentioned during the Les Gets race that the light on Loic’s bars goes green if he’s up at the splits.

9/17/2023 4:38pm Why does the warranty have to be transferrable? Why not just... be? What makes the original buyer so much more holy than any other person owning the bike at a later date to deserve a full warranty when others don't deserve it? I've never heard of something like this in the electronics industry (phones, PCs, etc.), we know it's not an issue with cars, Jeff mentioned it's not a thing with snowmobiles and motorbikes and so on, what makes bikes so special?

9/14/2023 4:05pm A truly waterproof headset would be nice. I live in a dry area and my headset still gets creaky and rusty way too soon. Obviously I wouldn’t buy a new bike because of only that

9/9/2023 3:49pm "As for all the other "rumors" I'm seeing here, you're all off base on guesses. Well...except OneGhost. I think my guy is playing poker and throwing all of you off with some serious fibs." Maybe industry people that actually know what TF is going on should either keep to yourself or at least drop some vague hints to foster the process w/o spilling the beans. These strange interweb flexing posts that equate to "nah nah, Im friends with all the riders and I know; but you don't! nah nah" seem a bit odd. Is that really what FSA wants their...

9/9/2023 3:47pm hm, I would like to thank the UCI and GMBN/whoever is doing the broadcasts this year from transforming me from a die hard DH fan who watched everything, to someone who can't even be bothered to watch the highlights videos anymore. So a person who happily spent multiple hours both waiting for and watching both the male and female coverage, being engaged in who rode for what team and on what bikes / equipment (I even blogged for the biggest national site / magazine on the topic) to now going meh, just checking the results. if nothing else I have...

3/28/2023 2:32pm I want to take a moment to thank Darren from Push, who has a small business to run, for taking time to weigh in and educate mouth breathers like me about what's happening inside our suspension stuff that goes up-and-down. I've learned a ton from reading so far. Thanks, Darren!

3/2/2023 9:03am Now that means +3 clicks from the middle- nominal- setting (on charger 3 and new shocks). That was a massive discussion and re-thought of how people should set up their suspension. We wanted people to use the knobs- making it the normal/default setting in the middle of the range was hoping to push people to actually use the damper. Otherwise it's count out from closed as that is almost always a hard-stop of a valve being completely closed (and you can compare that to your buddy's fork/shock of the same type). Most of the time the open side has a...

6/24/2022 8:34am Reality check: Wheel size is 324th on the list of mountain bike variables that affect performance, and it's definitely behind suspension setup, BB height, head angle, and tire size on that list.

3/28/2022 10:34am we stopped ews slideshows after 2019 (exception of finale 2020). no DH shows this year unfortunately. it was my decision. we were going to stop last year, then tried a single wrap-up show after the race. i know there are you uber-core fans out there, but the interest (views) was extremely disappointing. the format is just too clunky/old anymore and there's so much competing for our attention that it didn't make sense for us. sorry, flame on.

3/4/2022 12:18pm I’m sure (I hope) that the people running intense are smarter than me. But it seems they are going down a very stupid path: Build a 29” DH bike in a rush. Throw a billion dollars at Gwin. Decide the bike isn’t that good and completely re-design. Only let Gwin ride it. Proto an enduro bike modeled after it, no announcements for months. Produce a carbon mold, let outlets test it without releasing any #’s. Months later still no news. Decide that your proto DH bike sucks and copy a trek (potentially the only smart decision they’ve made) Be stuck...

1/20/2022 2:33pm Probably because his claims about working in a clinic where they are fraudulently handing out vax cards and dumping the vaccine down the sink. Combine that with his 9mm threats and it would not be all that surprising if he was reported to the authorities. In FL they give you a medal of freedumb for that type of $hit.

1/20/2022 2:31pm Thanks for the facts Lucent! People seem to forget that their children must have certain vaccines to attend public school, in the US. My Dad remembers getting the polio vaccine, no shot…just a drop of liquid on a sugar cube. Speaking of measles…I’ve got to get my 2nd Shingles vaccine this month.
