I think it's a terrible idea to discontinue juniors, especially for the non-europeans riders. The tracks are so different in the US from the European tracks that going over as a junior is one of the only ways to learn. Its seems the US riders get less interest than the European and very few end up on factory teams as it is. I dont the the feeder series will be much help, as awesome as the Monster Pro DH and the National series races are, in giving the juniors enough exposure to be put on a factory team and then...

I'm a 100% flat pedal rider and over the last several years I have tried; Spank Oozy, OneUp aluminum, Hope F20, Hope F22, Race Face Atlas 1, Race Face Atlas 2, Tenet Occult v1, Tenet Occult v2, Tenet Omen v2 and Deity Flat Track, and they all were replaced by something else for one reason or another.... usually reliability issues, but grip, feel and overall thickness came into play as well for all of them. I'll be 58 in November, but more importantly I am recovering from my 4th total lumbar surgery in 24yrs and 2nd fusion (now fused from L3 to S1) and all of those things add up to me finally getting off my Chameleon hardtail and onto a full suspension bike for my 18ish mile 2,800' rides in the SoCal high desert that I love to do. Going out on a limb here: Maybe, just maybe a higher stack on most bikes would make it less necessary to use high rise bars? It's no coincidence that bikes like the Atherton, Raaw Madonna, the Megatower etc. are praised for their superb handling. 10-20mm higher stack throughout the size range of modern bike geometry would certainly help.

Agreed. Would be ok for Ken for a rider or two but kicking the only person who’s been liked on the broadcast for someone who has very little insight on the race is a terrible call.
