Pablo Fiorilli BRS Liked a comment about Feature Bright Racing's F929 Next Custom Fork Review
11/9/2022 4:53pm Hello Jeff, I introduce myself, I am Pablo Fiorilli, designer and founder of Bright Racing Shocks and first (in the 90s) founder and designer of Fimoco Engineering always engaged in the design and development of racing shock absorbing systems. I have been dealing with suspensions since 1989 and I have worked as a designer for over 10 years also in the aerospace sector developing flight mechanisms. I would like to respond to your comments, which I find very relevant and interesting. I try to go in order: SAG ZERO when we talk about NO SAG we mean the use of...

LoamChomsky Liked a comment about Press Release NEW 2023 Scott Genius - Headset-routed Cables and Integrated Suspension Design
11/4/2022 10:12pm This bike checks every box for me - every box worth of things I won't buy: holes in the headset bearings, weird proprietary shocks, lockout levers that require substantial effort to remove, unnecessary integration. Is there a market for this? Have to admit it looks nice.

11/4/2022 10:11pm I hope any bike company selling integrated headset routing sells exactly zero bikes and kills this trend in it's infancy.

11/2/2022 3:40pm For me, thicker grub style pins always have much less bite and grip than the thinner, sharper through pins and it's not even close.

DBone95 Added a reply to Cable Routing - What do riders want?
10/15/2022 3:27pm I will NEVER buy any frame that has anything going through the headset. Ever. To all bike manufacturers out there, you need to have a question for any new and/or existing design engineer asking them if they "approve of through the headset cable routing", and to anyone who answers yes, they are immediately fired or told good luck and to...

DBone95 Added a comment about press release Wolf Tooth Introduces the Echo Lock-On Grips
10/15/2022 10:48am Just too much branding for me. Had they left off the Wolf Tooth logo on the rubber itself, I would have already bought them.

9/14/2022 10:18pm "Pie Plates are overrated"..says the guy in PA. I lived in Colorado for 10yrs up until a little over a month ago. Plenty of hour or longer climbs starting out at 6000ft that wide range gears come in handy. It's no different than having 2-3 speeds up front as far as range and MUCH simpler

Unruly Baker Liked a comment about Feature Shimano XT 12-Speed Long-Term Review
9/14/2022 10:16pm Been working on bicycle disc brakes since 1994, I’m pretty good at it. Not to say it’s impossible that I’m doing something wrong, but unlikely. I’ve even taken the brakes off the bike, hung them vertically, lever on top, bled them multiple times, ensuring everything correct, only to have issues return within a few weeks. As many others have stated, it’s not a bleed issue, it’s a design/hardware flaw/wear issue. If nothing else, I may have finally found the one person in the world that can properly bleed every Shimano brake with inconsistent bite point issues.

8/19/2022 6:15pm So the insane taxes, fees, water mandates, costs of electricity ,gas, coddling of drug addicts and mental patients , racist teaching policies, dystopian/tyrannical mask and vax requirements, pedo approved laws, I could go on. None of that is government related ? Or you just approve of all of it? Please stay here. Don't go anywhere else and screw it up with your bizarre beliefs or naivete. They really should enact policies to stop any voting by new residents in these states for 5-10 years to prevent Cali refugees from ruining the states they flee to. As a refugee from this...

dirtworks911 Liked a reply to forum topic No Vaccine, No Lourdes World Cup for Racers?
1/20/2022 12:17am Unlike dictator Griz who has been watching too much CNN, I feel any aspect of a racer's medical health aught to be made by the racer. I also think it's absolutely ridiculous to mandate such medical requirements when it's neither been proven safe or effective. I'm seeing way too many first hand complications (specifically heart related issues) from young and healthy individuals that statistically would have been fine had they acquired their immunity naturally by contracting COVID. We've turned this into a much larger mess than it needed to be. If you want the vaccine, get the vaccine. If you...

1/20/2022 12:16am You must not realize that professional athletes, though a very small portion of the population, are on average likely the least vaccinated demographic you can find.

Stiksandstones Liked a comment about Press Release A New Chapter for GT Factory Racing
1/8/2022 8:10am Well, we lost 2 athletes to this program-but we could not be happier for their new directions. Ryan has been a TLD grom since he started racing and we always hope these riders graduate into a factory program that is still with the brand, but, ultimately hope they find a solid and stable and supportive home-GT is a great program and we always know they are in good hands with Steve Spencer and the team-congrats Ryan. And as we said before, so happy for Katy to get back on a factory effort, not worry about all the headaches of self...
