Been working on bicycle disc brakes since 1994, I’m pretty good at it. Not to say it’s impossible that I’m doing something wrong, but unlikely. I’ve even taken the brakes off the bike, hung them vertically, lever on top, bled them multiple times, ensuring everything correct, only to have issues return within a few weeks. As many others have stated, it’s not a bleed issue, it’s a design/hardware flaw/wear issue. If nothing else, I may have finally found the one person in the world that can properly bleed every Shimano brake with inconsistent bite point issues.

I guess for me I see it less as a “failure” and more of a maintenance routine that the user needs to be aware of. It’s pretty easy to remove the cover and inject slick honey (I have a grease gun for slick honey left over from my old Turner frames) around the clutch pivot, cycle it a few times with clutch disengaged and tension backed off, then put the cover back on and retension and turn clutch back on. I’m in dry SLC, UT and am a bike washer, so makes sense why mine seized according to your experiences...

Not HexMC. HexMC comes in epoxy and BMI resin but both are traditional thermosets with 350F cures. You can postcure the BMI up to 450F. See link to patent below. GG stuff is clearly thermoplastic. The higher impact strength and increased recycleabilty claims are the key give away that they are using thermoplastics.
