The way in which it was presented "Built by the people it shaped" got me stoked as I wanna know more about who's behind the return while also figuring out ways in which I can support the series that raised me as a rider and racer. Stoked!

If Neer is gonna run MSC, hopefully J Work(Downhill Rockies) can focus on re-building gated racing out west… together? With the cost of…. everything being so dang high, it’s time to bring back more DS, Dual and 4x… More affordable bikes(heck you can use your NiCA rig) and the right bikes for all the muncipal flow spots that are popping up everywhere!

It is not a merger with DH Rockies. Looking forward to the four races in four states this summer!

Looks like they are committing to a 'young' team with Ronan, Pinkerton and Clarke. Hopefully they work on getting a young up and coming female racer too

The American Continental series seems to fall pretty flat this year, it's just too spread out and kind of a joke. To really compete, you'd have to travel to south, central and north America over 9 months. That's a big chunk of travel to move though. I'm sure there are enough venues and races to have a few feeder series races in all 3 parts and then that can make riders from those areas shine. It's already difficult and expensive enough for US, Mexican and Canadian riders to do a mixed series in North America given its size without having...

Honestly, who knows at this point. The new ski lift installation, which was the reason for the bike park being closed last summer, did not happen. The timber harvest that was supposed to fund the lift installation, that closed the bike park last summer, did not happen The permit for the lift installation, that was supposed to be paid for by the timber harvest, that closed the bike park last summer, was denied due to zoning issues. And lastly; the lift that was already purchased and has sat on the ground for many months, which had it's permit denied, which...

DH is a hard sport to watch because it’s too fast and subtle for the average viewer to get it all visually and the background is so much more complicated and distracting than F1 or moto or ski races, which are on neat clear tracks and it’s generally obvious when something happens. Been said a million times but it’s the announcing and cameras that are ruining the show. And I’m not picking on Ric because Rob and Claudio weren’t much better. Eliot Jackson was great. Neko and Gwin can be great when they aren’t being constantly interrupted. I’m a longtime...

My predictions for 26: 1. More bike shop closures. I think it's inevitable at this point. We're seeing a large number of shops closing on the powersports end. Dealers who've been in business for 50+ years too. If not closing they're getting gobbled up by larger chain ops. They're citing a number of factors and one of the bigger (if not biggest) is falling consumer confidence. I think decades of stagnant wages compared to inflation really hits hard at what was the middleclass. The opportunity is there for growth of service based retailers, but for large swaths that will be a...
