Maylei's had a good season in the Monster Energy Pro DH series, finishing 5th place or better at all 4 previous races. She finished 4th at US National Champs behind Skelton, Ostgaard and Melton. I'd like to see Alden get a solid result tomorrow. I read that he's 6'6" but I swear the guy is 6'9" if he's an inch!

Yo, also on the trail crew. Not really down to get into the mud with all of the environmental permitting stuff which is really above my dirt-shaping pay grade, but misinformation about the crew test riding our own course build is where I draw the line. Vital RAW in not rainy, perfect summer conditions for a weekend of #USDH from the Downhill Rockies series in Telluride.

If anyone is thinking at all of going, you should. You will have an amazing time and transportation is so easy in Korea. You'll show up at the airport, get to Seoul, and then take a high speed train to the venue with ease. And the locals will be STOKED. The food is out of this world. Going to Korea is the best kind of culture shock too.

As the parent of a kid who is looking to head down that path from way outside of Europe , I don’t necessarily feel no juniors would be a bad thing. I would be pretty happy for him to have a few more years of life and education up his sleeve before needing to move to the other side of the world to chase that dream. It would take the pressure of kids, especially non euro kids to “ make it” on the world scene at 17 or have to give up and head home.

No kidding. The boy dented the hell out of a FRONT wheel at the race first day of practice. We bent it back out and ran it for qualies then had to go with the spare on race day.
