Figured I'd share my new Levo SL since I got it built up in time for my up coming trips. Longggg back story: I rode an alloy Stumpjumper 15 the past year that weighed between 37.5-40.5 lbs depending on parts. Why would EXT let people butcher their products at home. Very few people can even set up suspension correctly let alone have the tools and brains to maintenance these.

We’ve been testing EXT products for quite a few years by now, and we’ve always been impressed by their performance and “trail feel”. Again a killer pod. Weekly conversation and I'm beyond stoked. I have a lot of drive / pod time each week and end up listening to a lot of mtb pod drivel. This is not drivel, it's highly engaging and I hope y'all are gonna be doing one every week or two. Ran this one twice because it's so easy to miss a lot even when you think you're focused. Thx so much!

I have the slightly older Fox Launch D30 Pro knees and elbows with the hard plastic cap. They have been 100% protective, completely indestructible, and even don't suck that bad to pedal in. They're very easy to wear on the ankles if you have a fire road slog to do. My vote is anything with a small hard cap, especially for racing or DH. I've crashed on the thinner trail sleeve style D30 pads many times before and sometimes you walk away more hurt than expected.

Did you boost the travel when you got new suspension? Did you feel like it lost any of the snappiness that people love about the stock version?

12/11/2025 8:01am I kept the travel the same for those exact reasons. I like how the bike handles with the stock numbers and didn't want to mess with it. Also, the trails I ride don't really demand it. Good to know I can bump it up though.

Oregon isn't really representative of the riding on the West Coast when people talk about needing bigger bikes out here. Oregon is known for being smooth and flowy. BC and Washington are classic west coast in my books.

12/10/2025 8:19am Yeah. It's just a long-stroked sight. I don't know why they didn't make this a 180/180, dual crown compatible, to create more separation between the bikes. I bought the C2 sight when it first came out and put a 38 and a coil on it. Maybe just call it a Sight LT.

Interesting/annoying spec choices though - mavens on the “all mountain” sight and shimano on the “enduro” range? Lame. Also, I’m am a transmission (and wireless in general) hater when it comes to meat powered bikes, but damn if i wouldn’t rather have it on my eeb.
