yep, I rewatched it and realized you can see a Bosch wheel magnet twice. So I guess the question now is, did they use the CX or SX motor? My guess is CX since most people want full power.

Speaking of the Hayes group, no one commented a few pages ago on the mentioning of possible new Mezzer and updated Dorado - no one has any inside info on this?

Been riding the 180mm dual crown on the enduro bike since the late fall now. I don't see myself going back anytime soon. Ran my old SC fork at 170 then 180mm for a while. The 180 dual sets the A2C back down to closer to the 170mm length and rides better then the 180mm sc. I don't notice the weight and its the first time I've been totally satisfied with the suspension performance and feel on the front of the pedal bike. For any enduro bike type application I don't see myself doing anything different. I wish they made...

Yeah, pretty sure they are prototyping a coil Marra, just not yet ready to sell it. Honestly, the air Marra feels boutique enough already, given the not-often-at-all times I’m a seen it ridden compared to really boutique brands out there. Really do think they need to pair the Dorado with a coil shock, while the air Marra Pro deserves a double-crown version of the Mezzer (something like a modern version of the Travis Tripple), good for 190mm with a 15mm axle. Think Intend’s Infinity EN is pretty lonely in this class! @Manitou are you reading this? :D

Crestline might make their 200mm travel cascade links available for sale, which would make it the first full travel DH ebike. It is a pretty high leverage rate on the rear shock though. Not sure how shocks would hold up to that abuse. There are a good amount of people throwing dual crown forks on enduro ebikes, which in my opinion gets you pretty close to a DH ebike that is still acceptable for pedaling.

Why aren't there any E-Downhill bikes? I'd imagine there is a market for something like that. DH bikes benefit from being a bit heavier, they suck to pedal, are restricted to lift access or shuttle riding only. Slapping a motor on it would eliminate most of the reasons the average consumer doesn't own one, wouldn't it? Dual crown max travel suspension, 11 or 12 spd groupset, dropper post, DH frame geometry, full power motor system. Sounds like a pretty sick setup to me.

+1 appreciating Dario here. He may not be right all the time, but he’s not taking it TOO seriously either. He is not polished and seems more relatable than your average presenter. Plus he IS younger than many, which gives him an opportunity (that he apparently uses) to think less of money/career and more of staying true to the current state of himself. Again, even if he is wrong from others POV.

So this is kind of hilarious to me because forbidden just ships a pile of parts along with a frame that isn't even put together. Having built/QC checked a lot of bikes from Transition, Ibis, Cannondale, Orbea, and Forbidden I can honestly say that the QC on the Forbidden frames are absolutely stellar, on par with Ibis carbon (Ibis alloy leaves a lot to be desired). Unfortunately, with bike brands that ship just frame and parts end up leaving a lot of their bikes "QC" impression on the skills of the builder building the bike. If your headset creeks, or...

If someone is going 30mph up a multi use trail blowing past hikers I don’t think hikers are gonna care if the rider has been going 30mph for 10 seconds or 10 minutes

I almost completely agree with this review of the Narco Sight TQ. I was lucky to get an early sample of this bike and I’ve been riding it for several weeks in all different types of terrain. It has been more fun than any other eBike I’ve ridden. The reason I love this eBike is that it’s fun on any trail and not just the biggest and baddest trails. Been discussed in this thread many times. New Charger 3.2 damper New airs pring New chassis New Linear XL chamber in the lower leg Ultimate may have the dimples on the stanctions for lubrication Possibly will have adjustable bottom out bumpers
