Umm... it wasn't for me. I think a lighter rider (170lbs or below) could benefit from the progressivity. I found I spent most of my time wallowing around mid-travel, even with the firmest spring I could find. It came back off pretty quick.

It fluctuates based on so many factors. It's been as light as 33, as heavy as 37 (with a Cascade link). 34 is my normal running weight.

Shock has been rebuilt 4x (the DHX2 only once) and the fork has had 3x oil bath changes, one seal swap (I'm cheap) and one damper service.

That's the bikes actual weight. (Weight including rider). Don't know why people insist on weighing their bike only, that number has no real-world use.

I’m curious about this as well. Did you run the Cascade Link with the coil and air? I’m also over 200lbs. How did you feel the coil held up in the mid travel with the normal link?
