By following the riders over the course of a weekend the story lines come to the front and you see the drama play out from the riders point of view. 👏🏼

Sounds like he doesn’t like not being protected and the fact he could crash in qualifying and he could have a massive hole to climb out of for the overall. To me mud races are fun because anyone can win not the teams who spend the most money having an advantage.

One of my favourite things about this thread is the the mix of people commenting. One one hand people who seem to have behind the scenes knowledge vaguely referring to things they know to be true but can't say, and people with no idea of the actual details confidently stating things they have no direct knowledge of. This is what keeps me coming back. Keep it coming

I also heard this news about Revel today thru an industry buddy. What a bummer. Their booth looked nice at Sea Otter and their employees there seemed pretty optimistic. Musta been a decision post sea otter. At least they didnt pull a Kona, I guess.

Protesting the podium is not going to work. You know what will? Protest the race. Would be amazing to have everyone qualify for DH finals and the. All go off course in the first 10 seconds and get DQed. No one gains a points advantage, WB gets screwed as they have nothing to broadcast.

To be fair, it's also possible that competitively priced and highly specialized manufacturing will pop up in the U.S. at enormous scale with armies of knowledgable, specialized non-immigrant workers in the next month to save us from these high costs. That's all we need. Well, that and in-country raw material extraction for materials that often don't exist in our borders in the quantities we need, like bauxite, rubber, lithium, cobalt, rare earth elements, etc. But if we can figure out those two aspects in the next month we'll be fine.
