We are one hubs look like they’re on the way. Reminds me of the old 90s Nukeproof hubs with the carbon shell.

Hey, yes these are from CounterShox. the blue one on the fork is straight off the moto bike. I tested on my Yamaha 450 first and then had to try on DH bike. I knew it would have a bigger effect. The mount is off a 85cc dirt bike, they have the same diameter clamp as dorado. The one mounted to the seattube is lighter, about 1lb. I 3D printed a mount so it doesn’t rub again the frame. These TMD are not adjustable, from talking to the folks at CounterShox, they have put so much R&D into weights, springs...

I've been considering a steel full suspension frame from a small builder for my next FS bike. It's been a long time since I've been so intrigued by a bike as I am that Apogee.

I think this new trend on longer chainstays will end up shortening reach a little, and even bringing back seat tube angles a little as well (keeping ETT while moving the bb forward a bit), in order to keep adecuate front-rear bias, at least from the most extreme numbers seen on some bikes. are the downvotes based on? cause i'm talking facts here, oh let's remember the 28gr for a udh, so at the axle, Gx vs GX t-type you have ( cassette + deralieur ) 738gr vs 936gr, so 200gr of extra unsprung weight, on a total of 219gr more for t- type, now on XO is 370gr, so the huge (100gr) weight saving on the frame are not only gone but gone right at your rear axle, nice

while i agree that many riders often have "more" bike than they need for a given trail, i'm not sure if this comes from a desire to be "overbiked" or just that many riders have one bike. they need it to cover many different kinds of terrains and difficulty levels - which results on inherently being overbiked on some trails.

The rumour and Patent about shimano's new 6 piston Brakes is true, Shimano Rep reckons about 12 months away - He said Maven's are Currently putting pressure on them as Even shimano fans are converting. Hes not sure on How the brake lineup will look but he believe's They are going to do what Sram currently is, which means it will probably be a new Saint Brake and working alot on lever feel instead of 'stick in spokes' while trying to keep the simple Shimano setup which is hard to balance
