This is a fun and well run series. Did my first enduro race at Reveille Peak Ranch last fall and had a blast. Really felt like a community and was much less stress than my downhill racing days.

Interesting idea Nico mentions that extra grip is coming from your feet! I totally agree with you and TeamRobot in his (totally sweet) Inside Line Podcast— as a over 6ft tall person the longer chainstay bikes always feel better especially in flat turns and such, with seemingly no downside.

Enjoying these a lot. I'm finding the longer the CS the better (for my XL sized bike) and this is on a trail bike. Front traction without all the extra work of heavily weighting the front is the reason.

Charlie Harrison has been really impressive over the last few seasons. Hope to see him on the top step of a World Cup podium this year! Glad Luca is alright, looks like he was up at the first split. Also impressed with Nic, Dakota and Grice. The future of US dh racing is looking bright (and certainly not counting out Gwin, wouldn't be at all surprised to see him win a few world cups this year). Bring on more racing!

No one can pedal? hmmmm, I pedal just fine on my eMTB, my heart rate gets high on my eMTB just fine...you are aware there are peer reviewed studies that prove class 1 eMTB pedal assist bikes done to anymore damage than a non assist bike. Still don't see what the problem is, I am just glad your attitude was more rampant when I first got one 6 years ago, than it is today.

As someone who raced pro downhill and has coached a lot of top pros I highly recommend ebikes for part of your training. I wish they were available in my racing days. We have a short two minute downhill in town with about 500 feet of climbing (or shuttling per lap). It takes about 15 minutes a lap to shuttle and you spend most of than time sitting down in the shuttle truck. On my Kenevo I can do five laps in an hour and 15 minutes and get 5 intervals in by standing up and smashing the road climb...

Could be, but the GOAT Minnaar had couple down years before refinding his form, too. I wouldn't count Gwin out just yet, I'm no fanboy but I think he's still has couple years left once he's able to focus on riding again.
