10/13/2025 9:48am @matvaillancourt1 posted this photo in 2025 team rumors thread. "spotted in MSA" - is it real? with teams having to be selected in the next month, stands to reason they'd get photoshoots done in MSA before everyone goes home.

10/13/2025 8:00am There were a couple of clues in the live feed. As Kolb was climbing onto the stage whilst passing the race winning V10, Neko says " Is that his bike or Jacksons?", to which Rik replies "Careful!". In the interview Andi was asked why he was so happy to see Jackson beat Bruni. He gave a very diplomatic answer, which prompted Rik to say something like "He handled that question just as well as he handled his bike today". So I think Kolb to Syndicate is the done deal.

10/12/2025 6:13pm Neko managed to borrow one from Fox for eu rounds, then borrow the redbull one for US rounds haha.

10/12/2025 4:23pm Iirc asa signed/extended a 3 year deal with Frameworks just earlier this year. I think that means 2028?

10/9/2025 7:54pm I think it's because the latest sheet for MSA specifically only filters for people racing at MSA. I'll probably do something later to check on previous sheets.

10/9/2025 6:30pm I downloaded the CSV sheets from Vital Fantasy and found out there's more that qualified than I thought. Every single women elite has scored at least some points, which means they all qualified at at least one race. Of the elite men, these are the racers that have never scored any points while also being at multiple races. (sorry guys)...

10/9/2025 2:12pm That’s why I was curious how many riders have gone to a “significant” numbers (5+ or however you want to define that) without qualifying this year. It makes to go try and qualify for a WC or 2 if it happens to be in your country or nearby and you can get a federation jersey, enjoy the experience and see how it goes. Traveling to every WC without qualifying is where doing well at Conti races or CW is probably better.

10/9/2025 1:39pm It kinda is though. WC DH is pretty stressful and time consuming, I don't see the racers having much time/effort for anything else. Even for someone as established as Gwin, he had to skip 3 rounds (iirc) to do the Monster series. For some racers who are 1.Doing the WC full time , 2. Getting at best a low 40...

10/9/2025 1:14pm It would be interesting to go back and look at how many elite men and women have actually qualified for a final this year. Maybe 50 men, 20-25 women? Would also be interesting to see how many elite riders have been to at least 5 world cups without qualifying. The riders who are spending the money to go a significant number of world cups without ever even qualifying are the group that could benefit from a program like Dante’s doing USDH or IXS

10/9/2025 12:53pm Based on the latest b-practice pod (Dak and Dante) there's 100-115+ elite men racing at just about any given world cup in the past year. I don't think they mentioned women elite and junior stats but that's a lot of men. On one hand I am absolutely stoked to see most of them either chasing a dream or just having...

10/9/2025 12:31pm WRONG. Whistler and Blackcomb are not private property. It's built on Crown Land, in 2017 they signed a new 60 year agreement. They also can't fully restrict you from Crown Land or crossing their tenure to access the greater park land around their tenure. Canada is probably much closer to Europe in how many of our resorts are set up (at least in BC) compared to the US. But even in the US there are plenty of resorts on public parks lands with similar long term tenure agreements.

10/9/2025 12:31pm Ooooo, finally something in the thread a professional association says I'm qualified to comment on! This is a misconception. Whistler Blackcomb, like most ski resorts in British Columbia, are for the most part, on unsurveyed Crown land. Bits and pieces are surveyed, typically where buildings exist, and there's a bunch of statutory right of ways registered on it (with confusing descriptions because, well, unsurveyed), but like 99% of the resort is provincial land. Whistler Blackcomb has stronger property rights and than other resorts because their tenure is a lease which gives them similar (but not quite as strong) rights to...

10/9/2025 12:27pm Looks like someone off Cube imo. I'm going to preface this with I have zero insider info and this is pure speculation - maybe they're going to lose their elite male? I can't see Jess or Rosa being off.

10/9/2025 7:17am Came back from the Lake placid race! Thanks to all of you who suggested watching the juniors up top and moving down the track as the elites came down, it was an amazing experience. I also watched the XCO on Sunday, which was a real treat - modern XC is really great to speculate, probably even better than DH even...

10/9/2025 7:11am As good as Danny is, I don't think it's going to trend up for him anymore at world cups, sadly. Same goes for all the Norco elite males, I think they really need to sign someone that at least makes finals regularly and be a consistent top 10 threat. The next year both Alrans, Asa, Taylor, and Oli are moving...
