Two different disciplines but one could learn from the other.

There is a maximum of ten riders for uci elite teams at world cup mtb and there is an overall team ranking for all disciplines. It's been like that for many years

Last year’s series plus Big Bear sometime is the scuttlebut in the shuttle line. It would be great if they actually kept points for juniors and Cat 2/3’s this year, imo!

12/16/2023 4:33pm Any news about the USAC National Downhill Series? I bought a DH bike and am trying to go racing and wouldn’t mind an excuse to fly east if it was part of a national series.

Lots of love and expectations for Jackson Goldstone in this forum; and he truly deserves it too. But let's not forget that Jordan Williams is also a very talented young rider (won his debut race in elites on a NEW bike), is on a damn good team, and nearly beat Goldstone to the jr overall last year.

in hopes of collecting some insight, i made an instagram story poll about watching live racing - i put it on insta b/c there are more people there and a more diverse group of viewers than in here. not sure we'll get much out of it, but why not? (there were # of character limitations, so i did what i could) https://www.instagram.com/stories/vitalmtb/3258568864509497387/

Sorry to change the subject, but does anyone know if there is a 2024 USDH National series? With the announcement of the 2024 US Open and the Tennessee National both having dates you'd think it would be public. I know last year there was a 3 race series, however I don't think it was points paying and I'm pretty sure no overall series awards were handed out. I've heard rumors of Mammoth and Rock Creek also hosting National Series races in 24'.

half of your comments are "hehe i know something you guys don't but I'm not telling you" we get it, you're an "industry insider", but could you either drop the pre-schooler attitude or just not say anything unless you can/want to contribute?

"max 30mm of spacers and 76mm bars" Same here - 30mm of spacers + 75mm rise Spank bar.

I like the stack height being tall and the same for Xl and XXL, my carbon Spire is much too low and I am forced to run the max 30mm of spacers and 76mm bars and still want them taller. Also cool the head tube will allow for reach reducing/increasing/angleset-maxxing. Steeper seat tubes on longer sizes is mega swag as well.

La Bresse? Maes won and Gee came second (from what I can see on Roots and Rain Gee's last WC win was 2014 when he was on GT).
