My last bike was a Large Megatower v1 with cascade link and long cs position resulting in ~1.75 fc/rc and that gave a lot of confidence when cornering. I ended up choosing to ride that bike at bike parks more than the large RAAW Yalla! that I also had at the time because it felt easier to ride. I had a -10mm headset installed and long cs setting on a large which gives something like 1.85 fc/rc. Now riding a medium frameworks enduro with 1.80 Fc/rc and I can’t help but think I still prefer the Megatower haha. Also tried...

As a 6’2” rider on a Spire I have to say this discussion is stressing me out. Telling myself I don’t have issues leaning the bike and getting it to turn in, but I haven’t ridden a mullet ever.

His comments are super grounded. He just said he'd like to give it a shot. I'm sure as great athletes he could be pretty quick on a DH bike. But let's be honest, it would take a while for him to be confident even getting down Val di Sole, let alone racing it.

I do not disagree with this point at all. Would be awesome to have another iconic World Cup track in Colorado. It's been since what, 2004 that there was a World Cup in the Rockies at Angel Fire? It does seem like the Forrest Service requires a whole lot of money, studies, and surveying to open new trails. A trail versus a full on WC track is something else. Seems like it could be a heavy lift to make it happen and a chicken or the egg type of situation. The specific resort may want approval to build the trail...

She can still race but would have to pit in the privateer area or with another WC team: "... riders can also get into World Cups with their ranking points. While in 2024, holding 40 UCI points would give you entry to World Cups, for 2025 an elite rider will need to be inside the top 50 individual rider rankings and a junior racing will need to be ranked in the top 100." I think a lot of the hate on the WB coverage is because of the increased expenses. Team fees more than quadrupled, race coverage is now locked behind a paywall (that gets almost 300% more expensive to watch this year), and promise from WB of improved coverage. WB hasn't delivered on any of the promised improved coverage and much of the available coverage has been poor (extremely wide drone shots that barely show the rider, shots that cut out the rider's legs and the bike, cutting away from a race run to show a team manager) poor commentary, and just...

Sorry, missed the word "running." Lots of copy/paste rearranging to make my stuff make a little more sense. I must have missed it in a copy/paste frenzy. I'm not saying "this is what's happening" I'm saying "this is the lengths this could be stretched to." Yep, I used "mafia" in one phrase to illustrate an opportunity for corruption and then I used "wholesome and benevolent" in the next to illustrate an opportunity for really embracing DH fans. I'm talking about possibilities not throwing accusations. I'm not sure I understand your criticism. Perhaps I'm too stupid to understand and you could...

PFR can be just be BK + Jenna. They're both top 50 UCI in their categories so get a start without needing to being on an "UCI MTB WORLD SERIES TEAM" or "WILDCARD" team.
