It’s hard to beat the latest Trials game, Trials Rising. It has a huge single player campaign, a great tutorial/school that teaches you the intricacies of the controls, and a skill ceiling that is so high I have well over 1500 hours in the series yet still struggle to stay in the top 800 players worldwide. It’s a great game...

Fortunately the jumps don't look too lippy but I'll go out on a limb and say there will be injuries from people losing strength and front flipping themselves off the jumps to flat. Doesn't seem safe at all.

The piston massage takes less than a minute. Not sure why everyone is making a fuss just do it properly as per the manual and enjoy perfect brakes

The bike industry is full of things that scream poor design and manufacturing. It's far from a SRAM specific problem.

The fact SRAM state you have to complete these extra steps just to achieve a brake that works for their top of the line product (which no other manufacturer does) just screams poor design and manufacturing.

No this test was supported by Feedback Sports and Ride Wrap. BrakeAce also generously loaned us two sets of sensors. Each brand did provide brakes FOC. They were given the same testing parameters and product asks. No brakes were bled by the brand. They arrived in a box the same as any rider recieves them. No one got a special treatment. Our goals/angles we focused on for this test: testing brakes in Whistler because the trails are proper and relatable/familiar to many riders. 2.) Test an entry-level brake against premium options. 3.) Compare/test staple brakes like XTR and Code. 4.)...

How much do duration, # events, event duration, etc., vary between runs using the same brake and same trail segment and the same rider? All these data and impressions are shown as if the differences we see are due to the different brake, but some obvious alternate explanations include stuff like the test rider rides each lap a little different.

I read your final chart as the Maven winning because I prefer a quicker first touch to full power feeling over the Magura design. I have yet to feel how my Mavens run as I’ve had warranty issues since first building my bike in June till after the bike park closed. What little riding I’ve done pushing up at some jumps with fully working brakes they’ve been great. I’d prefer a shorter throw to pad contact but once it hits I have a very nice and solid lever with minimal additional movement. The people complaining about the force required to...
