He seems like he’s always been happiest with the family campervan at the races so I could actually see the sponsored privateer setup working in his favour.

I doubt he can justify the money he used to be on. Probably going to be a fairly hefty pay cut to carry on racing with anyone. Didn't sound like he had much options from Wyn TV. Will norco replace him or just stick with Bodi
I think he’ll be replaced. Bodhi has been inconsistent with injuries and Lina is moving up to elites so points from them aren’t guaranteed each week. Need another elite that’s always in the mix, not sure who’s available though.

I get the impression the whole Norco team excluding Gracie is about to change.

I don't think you understand the Syndicate or her career and value to the sport. If anything, they should add another female to the team.
Latter point is valid, but anyone in any for-profit industry needs to be reminded on the daily that they're not working for a family, they're working for a business. No friends on a balance sheet just like there's no friends on a powder day
*edit to include Nina's influence on bike sales and rider development could be just as fiscally valuable as results, if that's what you're alluding to

It’s a business, riders value is on current and possible future performance. Nina has been given everything she could of needed and hasn’t really performed and in my opinion it will be harder as she gets older to challenge the younger generation who have a much greater range of skills and marketability. Just an opinion though. Laurie was in the same boat and see where he went.
I think there’s real value to continuity with a brand (we can same team but it’s a 100% a brand thing). Much of Santa Cruz’s success is their commitment to riders for extended periods of time. Same can be say with Bruni and specialized. Commencal is on a similar program.
Of course, you need great riders, but committing to great riders long term pays dividends. Look at trek. It’s been a revolving door. I rarely see anyone on a trek trail bike who is downhill oriented (e.g. non Lycra crowd), which is most of the market.

I have no real dog or insight on this whole thing, I just wanted to personally say I absolutely loathe the phrase "No friends on a powder day." Ski with your friends no matter what the conditions are and you'll have more fun.
I think it's also pretty telling that the elite racers I've met have all been friendly if not friends with each other.
100% - Up North True powder means tree wells which means always ski with a friend 😀..
I suspect most pro sports athletes are aware that today's team mate could be tomorrows opposition and vice versa. Even the most heated sports rivalries have been know to exchange players if the deal makes sense.
keep talking about balance sheets and roll solo the rest of your days!
and yeah, it’s ONLY friends on a true powder day.
My best ski buddy is a boarder, waiting for him to get into his bindings on a powder day is one of the biggest acts of patience I would ever show. Hoping Pinkerton jumps levels over the off season. he's got the skills and speed to win, just needs a little more consistency. If he could just go the same speed but not crash or make a mistake (lol), he'd be a consistent podium threat.

I don’t think Lina is going anywhere unless she wants to. You don’t support a rider through jrs and then not give them a season or 2 in elites
Is there a list of riders who's contracts are up...
for the top 40 overall men maybe:
For top 10 women I think contracts might be up for
AON, SCOTT, ATHERTON, MS, GOODMAN, FMD, hinging on finances???
Greg-Norco have an extension option for 2027?
lepigpen I'm looking at you
Team Rumors?
Love to be camped on Dirt Merchant this week to see who’s riding what.
Felix Griffiths off the syndicate for elite surely?
Surely Nina and Felix off syndicate. Aletha and Jonty would be good to see.
Camden to Norco
Neko said they were coming back for laps before Hardline
Only if it's Nina's choice. I don't think they'd let her go for a bad season.
They don’t owe her anything. Teams want wins and UCI points. Plenty other women coming up that deliver them more than Nina has.

Eliana sure did step up toward the end of the year.

I guess a large chunk of the men’s field better be looking for new careers then.
They are, or they ride for smaller teams.

Who’s even left on Nukeproof racing now? Only rider who had a good season might be off, rest has been atrocious this year

I hope Bode Burke gets a good ride. With some mentoring(or taming) and a competitive bike, I think he's a threat every round.
Louise Ferguson
That’d be a good option too. Her marketing appeal with Hardline and other events like that make her a better choice than Nina.
She's not exactly young and may never fully recover from her recent injuries. I hope her medical bills are being covered UCIs or Warner bros insurance
Depends on whether his parents want to write another big cheque.
Orbea parting ways with FMD? Martin Maes only tagging orbea in his insta post
Seems you hit a nerve
