But why the perpendicular piston orientation then what looks like a parallel reservoir? Or what is the point of that part with the Magura logo?

the levers and calipers are different sizes, and they are all 'hovering' so its clearly not one photo, but multiple ones dumped poorly on a branded background - but the individual componnts themselves I dont see a reason to beleive they aren't real.

Same thoughts, it looks like they were individually shot and cropped, which makes the lighting really weird.

What would be the target market of those ? The MT might be due for a budget oriented replacemnt.

I wonder how magura is doing these days, the MTs getting specced on very few bikes and you can find them online for literal peanuts, the Gustavs are nowhere, maybe the city/cargo market is what's keeping them afloat ?

Tried that image in two AI image detectors and got 90% chance of it being AI generated.

More than 10% chance that them AI brakes are capable of wiping the human race out.

It's not about getting used to.
It's about how it looks.
It looked bad ten years ago already...

There’s a DH being released in about a month. When it’s released the full range of build kits won’t be available until spring of 27’ because of certain drivetrain and brake components.

Any more news on when this will be? Is it likely to be tied in with one of the WC rounds? Norco releasing their DH bike...

From what I’ve heard yes, Norco Team DH release on Sept 25 (Whistler WC weekend).

But that’s just what I’ve heard. Maybe my ears don’t work well.

I wonder if the new Devinci Wilson will be released around then as well?

Looks like new sentinel about to drop? Pics I saw has a link behind the seat tube not sure why you’d do that but it’s there...

Only two model years for the current generation? That's a quick turn-around!

Yeah, I would have figured Transition would go at least next year for new models, and maybe a new suspension setup from what some of y'all are saying.

Inverted forks are finally becoming a thing (again) and they may be the key to mainstreaming 32" wheels.

Will they also be the key to the return of headset cable routing?

There will be plenty of 32" traditional chassis forks. In the next 18 months would be my estimation.

Zoom in on the calipers and come back to us

Yeah fox is already on it, DT Swiss is working on one, RockShox had one on a prototype trek, surely other manufacturers will be making a right side up fork

I would love to know if they new stronger springs Shimano are using to address the noise complaints are retrofittable. They should communicate that.

Would they drop a new one a mere year after the v3?

As @TheSuspensionLabNZ says, decision get made a long way out. The other issue with that is that the decisions often get made with a huge divergence between design and an understanding of manufacturing reality.

It’s sold as making bike better or cheaper to manufacture, but by the time it comes around it’s not uncommon to see it’s not that simple. BB30 is a great example - on paper, or bikes that came be made really well, it’s fine. On everything else? Not so much.

Headset routing is an abomination. Arguably acceptable on a race bike that has electronic drivetrain and dropper, but I struggle to see the benefit compared to a well executed port in the frame.

Only if it is part of a full refresh in their design, as others have alluded to.  guy who claims to have seen a photo with a "link behind the seat tube" and someone else said, 'Is Transition the new Yeti?'  Perhaps those two are related.

But, still this year would feel a bit soon for such a turn around, especially as we are ending the larger riding season half the country. Would a brand really release anything just as people are anxiously anticipating big sales for black friday that seems to last all of November these days.
