It's definitely the first time the overall was won on a Santa Cruz bike. And weirdly enough, only the second time ever when men's overall was won by a French, given how dominant they are in the sport (only Jerome Clementz won it before in the inaugural 2013 season).

Sick of crankworx to announce their enduro series within a few days of the UCI announcing theirs is no longer happening. Just hope the crankworx one is more than a new Zealand and Canada series.

They have put out an invitation globally for venues to express interest, so I have reasonable confidence in this being far more global. Good example is the money that Haute-Savoie are throwing at MTB tourism these days, several other areas in Europe are doing the same as well as Tasmania, Korea (dammed if I know why with this one?).
Places like Chile, would do well to try and offer to do an Enduro timed to finish say 3 days before a Redbull urban DH, or start say 3 days after the DH, makes it more tempting for tourists to come and stay for those precious extra few "spending tourist money" days.
Hopefully crankworks does the broadcast style they did at Whistler a few years. Short section of cameras but primarily final stage finish line interviews and storytelling.
Jesse winning Whistler live was peak enduro broadcasting imo.
wishful thinking.... but with Snowshoe losing DH, they are a great venue for an east coast enduro leg. Great backcountry riding and most of their bike park trails have a more enduro feel anyways. Good sized village and accommodations.

Just a sort-of early heads up: The Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series wraps up with the US Open the weekend of September 12-13 at Deer Valley. Finals for the Pro group are September 12. This race has one of the biggest winner's prizes in MTB racing: $15,000.
Registration is already underway. Asa Vermette said in an interview at World Champs that he's going to be there.
A lot of riders wait until the week of the race to register, but some of the riders already registered are: Asa, Aaron Gwin, Bode Burke, Mikey Delesalle, Mack Manietta, Neko Mulally, Monster Pro Series points leader Nate Kitchen, and Alden Pate (who might be ready to return to racing after being injured at the Korea World Cup race).
Women who've registered include the Logar sisters, the Ostgaard sisters, and Anna Newkirk.
Last year's winners were Aletha Ostgaard and Dakotah Norton.
[Edit: I just noticed that Wes Lukens is registered in the Cat 1 Boys 11-12 year old division. Pretty sure he recently got a custom-made bike from Frameworks. No idea if that's what he'll be riding.]

Red Bull Hardline British Columbia is heading to Cypress Mountain in West Vancouver between October 16-17, 2026, pushing the limits of what's possible on two wheels. 2026 marks the 12th year of Red Bull Hardline since its inception in Wales in 2014, and the first-ever race in Canada promises another unmissable showdown as the world's most progressive male and female MTB riders push the limits on one of the most extreme courses in the sport.

Important: Due to the venue location and limited parking capacity, there are only two ways spectators can access the event.
Option 1: Carpool Vehicle Ticket (valid for parking and general admission for up to 8 people, including the driver)
One ticket covers one vehicle carrying up to 8 people (including the driver). Gather your crew and split the cost of travel to the event.
Option 2: Cypress Coach Lines Bus + General Admission (single ticket)
Round-trip bus transportation to Cypress Mountain
One (1) single day general admission ticket
