Edit: I forced the angle to be 66 degrees, and it seems to line up well with the fork legs, but doesn't appear to line up well with the head tube. The head tube is short, and likely a bit tapered, so this seemed like the right approach.
2 holes in RHS of head tube for presumably dropper and shock lockout* - both unused here on ruth's flight attendant version. Possible hole in the rear chainstay for gear cable but can't really tell on the black frame.
But a good indication that they haven't made it electric only, and no headset routing.
*although as a Brit my only complaint on SC is they don't let you put the rear brake hose in the RHS of the frame. I can dream but I'm not hopeful.
Rear linkage looks slightly different but same basic flex stay and no seat stay bridge arrangement.

Keep in mind that the 68.3 HTA was only for the xc race version with a 100mm fork, the HTA on the Trail with a 120mm fork is 67.1 which the new one is a lot closer too

So probably a small change on the frame, plus glovebox and extra bolts for accessory mounts. Hopefully it's not heavier than the Blur 4 frame, but it probably is with the added glovebox. Seems weird to add that to a racing bike, but perhaps SC sees it more as a all-around short-travel bike these days.

All i can confirm here is that it does not look like someone took a chainsaw to it, but they have not taken a spartan approch to the design. I think it's going to create a big bang when it drops.

No. Just don't need that much freehub on DH bikes. Simple as.
OneUp is first I have seen claiming the benefits of using a 157 hub in a 148 frame with the slim. And Shimano could be cutting down the 10s dh, which does seem quite silly comparatively. You don't need such small steps between gears if you are pointed downhill like that.

Yeah, I posted this a page or two ago. Dual motor eCVTs were a new discovery for me. Absolutely makes sense for ebikes, but no chance at all of "trickle-down" technology to pedal bikes, as a few folks in the thread had hoped for.

Yes, you would need to rebuild the wheel. You can’t just swap the drivers.
Brake spacing on 157 and 148 boost hubs has always been the same I believe.
