Aventon should just go back to making fixed gears, and not repainted V10's.
Frameworks does riding/training on a different brands e-bike, and races on their own frame.
Aventon is doing the inverse to Frameworks 😁

Aventon is cool in my book. Sponsoring Tippie and Angel and making a quality, reasonably priced ebike.
Sounds better than one more super posh boutique brand making a product that costs five figures.
Angel gets a paycheck, gets to keep racing, and I would imagine helps with developing the next Aventon ebike. What's the problem?
A properly supported Angel on a winning bike is someone who has been able cross the line in the green in the past. Angels had some rough luck over the years with weird team dynamics, teams folding, and injury. I'd love to see 2-3 seasons of that guy healthy and supported.
And Wyn on Focus and a rebadged V10 as well.
At least Focus and. Santa Cruz are both PON companies...
I've even heard rumors that Red Bull doesn't actually make helmets either
I miss those races so much. Such a good time, great racing, great people, me running around with either a whiskey or tequila bottle forcing people to take shots, and as always the funny looks my Nicolai thru axle track bike would get.
100. Guess what the bikes the pro's ride are not much like what we ride so if this leads to a better everday rider bike then great.
What? History never repeats itself. You're crazy!
I am more shocked that’s the company is in Brea, CA.
For real, our local ones started with a beer chug, start when you're finished chugging. After we would ride around like a wheely kids, continue drinking, and end up at the hospital Cafeteria at 4am because it was the only place open in the small town.
Back to rumors, Martin Mae's has some kinda deal with Subaru that I don't remember seeing before and it appears he's the only Orbea rider with it? Had the Subaru logo on the redbull Helmut and jersey.
Thanks, I'm regularly wrong so this all makes sense. Good on them, that seems like a big signing.
Was it not a rebadged GT?
Not this year. V10 now.
Haven't seen a press release yet, but it would be one of the first large out of industry sponsors in a while in DH. Good on 'em
Still so weird not seeing him on a Trek
I thought for sure that it was going to be back to Ellsworth. I saw a video recently on YouTube about a rebirth of the company and Cam liked my comment.
Right?
Cannondale is done sponsoring XC. Trading racers for influencers.
Cannondale Rogues 🤮
Seat and watch the collapse of the XCO field under Warner administration.
Cannondale is not the only world elite team that will stop at the end of this season. If you add the UCI team that can't find the budget to race world cup, this is the collapse. There is no more enough spot to bring young to the top level, road and gravel are a way more open field to get a real salary.
i block influencers
can't take it
Wow, and my old ass was sitting around being impressed with their riders winning this season and thinking that must be good for their image.
Blame Warner is a really bad take on this, Pon is shutting their factory down and cutting 120 jobs, Warner have nothing to do with this.
Asking more and more money for less visibility to an industry that have less and less....
If PON choice road bike teams and influencers over XCO teams, it's mean XCO is less attractive from a marketing point of view.
When brand will shut down road team instead of MTB team (dh or xc), then, i will be happy with warner.
I imagine the Cannondale XC team costs A LOT more money to fund than a few influencers. Regardless of ROI. If an excel nerd decides something has too many zeros it's done for
