Was Ella Svegby with them? She was off injured all of 2025, but was super fast the ’24 season.

A soon to be elite FAF frenchie to norco in 2026

Charlie Hatton off atherton?

Interesting about the Frenchie to Norco, as there were only two French juniors who consistently qualified in junior men's last year and that was the Alran bros. And I can't see either leaving Commencal (we saw Till training with Amaury last week anyways).

And there were no consistent French female juniors last season either? Hmmmmmmm

Till leaving Muc Off isn't totally unrealistic. He's been second banana to Max for two years. Going Elite, he'd be bumped down to fourth banana at least at the start of the season. We've seen time and again that change can be a good thing. As tough as it would be, imagine the chance to become Rider 1 on a team your first year in Elite. Norco Factory may not be as dialed and French as Muc Off, but it probably isn't that far off. Still riding with Amaury means nothing because they're still teammates till at least 12/31, might live close enough to each other to make it a regular thing, and riders from different teams ride together in the off-season.

Watch me be completely wrong in January, and we get multiple Commencal Muc Off podium sweeps in 2026.

Is there really not another fast Frenchie bumping up to Elite? Don't they grow on trees in France?

At the same time the twins could very well be the Lawrence brothers of our sport if they stick together.  I imagine if hunter was on Yamaha there wouldn’t be quite the same level of intrigue in the family story.  And while hunter is certainly no slouch on the bike he gets as much media coverage for being Jett’s brother as he does for his own riding.

I kinda feel like elites is a clean slate for the juniors, they'll be whatever banana they are based off of their results after the first few races. Max or Till would be the talk of the town if they were instantly beating their older team mates to podium spots.

I'm thinking now though that it's actually someone like Nathan Pontvianne that is going to Norco, young, fast and french. I can't see commencal in general never mind the team letting either Alran go just yet.

Will be interesting to see if he actual signs for them as a "free agent", especially seen as Canyon's marketing budget took a hit with lower sales etc..

yes...no flightschnubbeldupp thing on the fork or shok

Ok probably not right take coming in but, what if it's maples to frameworks/Scott, Vergier to Norco with past mentor Minnar, and Vali to the Commencal Muc-off main team. I know Loris just signed it's unlikely but can't think of many other fast franchise outside Coulanges and Daprela and I don't see Norco grabbing either.

minnaar was the reason loris left the syndicate AFAIK, didn't like the old dogs mindgames.

I thought that was Luca, maybe both? I'm probably not remembering it right though. I have a feeling that commencal wants to create a team that will be dominant in the team standings and have multiple opportunities for individuals to being going after the overall, that's why I see vali on the muc-off team.

pictures posted from Muc Off team camp on facebook include  both twins, Loris, and Amaury.    As expected the missing Elite Male is Dylan Maples

If Maples leaves mucoff, its the best thing he can do for his future. This thing gets way too frenchie even for him. Super intersting where he has already signed. I still bet on frameworks.

Probably not trolling, but given the state of the industry and lack of money, why would a brand invest in someone racing a discipline that gets little coverage.

Riders like this need to learn to be able to quantify themselves. If they can show that they will make a company return on their investment the. Happy days. If you can’t to this then it’s time to look at things elsewhere.

Moir is one of the better riders as far as bringing a little more to the table.. But, with enduro being questionable combined  with a lack of money and open spots, it's tough times..

Moir has a pretty solid social media presence and is a solid racer with a lot of people following his journey. I think he is a solid investment for any brand. The only problem might be the terms he is trying to get given the state of the industry. Does he deserve a big contract? yes, he does. There are probably just very few brands that have the budget to do that and they already have people filling that spot. If Moir can negotiate a contract that let's him get sponsors outside of the "factory sponsors" (like Brendog with Scott), he may find somewhere decent to land.

It's mad how the industry is in a state with lack of money etc then you go to local trails carpark and see 80k+ worth of ebikes swinging off the back of just one truck.

I wonder could Moir get a little program going like Greg Callaghan and Dan Booker. Seems to work well for those guys.

Did he have any years left on his yt contract?

Being late to the dance makes it much easier to be without a seat when the music stops.

He’s also ina wierd spot with an overall win but injury struggles for the most recent part of his career.  Much like ag there may be a need to really go out of the box for a worthwhile ride.

Few people are as fun to watch corner a bike than Jack.  Really hope he finds a good partner for this season.

Jack Moir is the biggest star of enduro racing.

YT sucks!

Wasn't the suggestion from the pinkbike survey that there were only about 3 or 4  riders in enduro making decent money and you'd assume Moir would be one of those . He definitely ticks the box in terms of bringing more to a brand than just race results.

Just thinking as well if possibly being based in Australia has anything to do with it . When you are putting together riders for a European only series adding in flights and then I assume accommodation costs must add up to a chunk of your probably already reduced budget.

I would assume some JRs.  I don’t know why but it would make sense.   They have one elite male and female (assuming Anna is still there) bring in a few JRs.  Also Neko gets back on the bike for WCs to fight with Gwin 😂

Has any frame brand ever promised on-site warranty support at races before?  That is very cool. 👍

Been at a few larger events (crankworks whistler, Tenn natl) where Industry Nine was swapping rims onsite for folks, but haven’t seen it from a bike company. Definitely rad!

What a great way to one up Commencal having a mechanic for privateers at the races. The irony is you’d need the on-site warranty for your Commencal before your Frameworks!

SRAM (and Shimano as well, I believe) offers on-site warranty support at EDR events for racers, including those in the amateur categories. This year in Val di Fassa they replaced my broken GX AXS derailleur with an XX the evening before the race, which genuinely surprised me and for which I was so grateful that I bought a set of Mavens when I got home 😄
