I guess the question now is will Intense have a WC team if Breeden switches the team to Nukeproof? And, if so, what team will it be?

Axess nukeproof racing  it’s a done deal

Same as

Osin to trek

Hauser off trek

Dak to axess nukeproof

Vali to commencial

Who will yeti sign? Which elite female

Also gamut team need to sign more, probably some good riders!

why do ppl think intense can found an international race team when they just exited the european markets due to finacial reasons?

I’d bet intense was less than 15% of the funding for that team. Joe put a lot into developing axxess or whatever his program is. Tons of other sponsors, many that aren’t super mainstream, which usually means a bit more budget. They were in intense cause Joe helped develope that bike and didn’t wanna let it go as soon as the bike was actually good.

If intense did have a team this year it would take them getting a lot of funding from outside sponsors. Possible but seems unlikely. They seem intent with just going after the NA market and NA race series

Dylan on pivot seems like a weird fit, but i could definitely see pivot saying hey, we need a fast American on the team if you want us to keep funding this team.

If Joe's team moves to Nukeproof I'm guessing that they won't have a gearbox bike available to them ?

Will be interesting to see if any teams go towards or away from the gearbox option .

Ya..I agree on the Pivot wanting a fast American point. They make some good bikes and have probably pumped big money into that team over the years. Time for some payback on the home marketing front.

My hunch is that Jess Blewitt is probably gonna go Yeti. They love kiwis and she's off Cube.

Will Cube add another elite male?

Can Aon racing actually afford another elite rider?

Dak on the Axess NP team would actually be sick.

Do you think jumping on an unproven bike would be a good move compared to his current setup which seems to work great for him? Personally think Mondraker would be mad to get rid of him. The team have the potential to have a 1 2 3 podium.

I reckon Axess NP will happen with Breeden and Charlie Hatton and Laurie Greenland will make a move to fill that spot at Atherton.

Even as a non-American I would love to see Dak on a yeti, frameworks, intense or even a crestline - anything but a Scott 🙏

Yeah, BK Sport Factory Racing  aka PFR will likely need to get a fast elite rider who can score some points. Jenna hasn't done much in the last 3 years and having a fast  elite women on your team is a sure bet to consistently score points. I'm  guessing adding another female won't work given the team dynamic  but is there an enduro team still? If not, that would free up some budget  to get a fast elite male.  I'm betting on Laurie Greenland, he lives in the UK so cheaper for BK  vs  a  North American rider that costs way more.  Kiwi and Aussie  riders are also more expensive unless you make them your partner. Sorry.... still  hard to avoid that oneSmile   Pivot makes some sweet bikes, I hope they can continue racing at the top level.

So much hatred towards BK. I don't understand it. He does a lot for the sport, and his private relationships – which are discussed a lot here, and where everyone is entitled to their opinion, just like with sausage, politics and art – shouldn't really matter. He does more for the sport than all the keyboard warriors here in the forum.

He does, but he also talks a lot of shit, and is famously a massive nit-picker at race venues and complains a lot. So what goes around comes around really. People in scene aren't vindictive, but you can only tolerate a whinging pom so much, ya know?

Still waiting for the Hardline BC announcement to come, wonder when that will be and what teams will be going

Wherever the relationship is now (seems healthy enough) its undeniable it wasnt at least a little bit dodgy. Adult team manager getting romantically involved with team member he signed when she was underage. I think it being called out somewhat isn't necessarily a bad thing so that sort of shit doesn't become normalised.

Jack Miller would speak in broken English to his Ducati mechanics because that's how they talked.  It was hilarious to hear.

Can we please get a freckle gate going?  This off season needs to pick up the intensity.  Also, is Luca still on Canyon? He’s bombing around with Peaty tonight.

Speaking of Canyon, is their enduro program done? Jesse Melamed was a team of one this year and racing a  DH bike for fun at the end of the season. Anyone know what Jesse is doing in 2026?

Look around and you’ll see where Spomer said leave this personal shit out of the forums.

Sounds like pivot may need to part ways with BK if they want their admittedly great bike to see any success

Y’all call him out if you have a problem.

Canyon enduro is done and specialised.

Most enduro is done.

Enduro with WBD will be done by 27. Finished, finito.

i would love to see Greenland on a british team, although Atherton has only little to no money to spend, he could also be a nice pick for Nukeproof. But i think that they keep Charlie, who is a great guy and their worldchamp, would be hard to get him off, although i don`t know contract issues.

Many speculations these days rise and fall with the question, which financial possibilities are really at Nukeproof; if its the same like former intense, it can get difficult with a top10 rider.

Yess Blewitt off Cube is shure? Would be quite reasonable. With a redbull helmet, she should get another year on a big team, i guess, although `25 was a bummer for her. For riders like her, times are getting hard in the next years with the upcoming youths.

I could very well imagine Widmann off mondraker and that they go for a new female top.

Can´t imagine Baumann leaving Les Orres, she was built there and is still young with lots of potential, esp. when vali comes next season.

still waiting, where Maples ends up, but we will maybe have to wait until january...

No way would trek let go of Sacha - she showed some great form to end the season.

OTB podcast said she was at contract renewal so she might have options on the table .

Tippie was in NWA quite a bit over the last couple of years as part of YT events. Everything said on that writeup is true. He's unflagging in his positivity and stoke. He includes everyone and interact with everyone from the kookiest kid to the most seasoned pro. He's almost uncomfortably positive and full of stoke at times, but a brand really couldn't ask for a better ambassador. I hope he lands somewhere. Dude is a legend, and his story of climbing out of the dark depths of addiction is inspirational.

I can't imagine he'll have a tough time finding some kind of support. There is no stronger ambassador for mountain biking than Tippie.
