This is an interesting point of view, and I don’t think you’re the first to express the same idea here. Which makes me wonder, who else do my fellow nerds have pegged for the win? PB does a poll for these races, but I’d much rather hear your well-informed opinions, and some reasoning to back them up… WHAT SAY YOU?!?

Yeah to be fair I'd be surprised if brosnan wants to risk too much right at the start of a season. Would be cool to see Fearon put down a good result after his 3rd in seeding and (4th??) i think last year

Considering the internet has been going on and on and on about how great Red Bull was for race coverage before the WB hand over, they're not really bringing much to the table content-wise so far. I would say bare minimum coverage. I'd like to see actual footage of people practicing the course from like, a professional camera. There's been 1 video so far besides the POV of Jono, Ronan and Jackson. In any case, I've been stoked on the vlogs, and looking foreword to the race. I don't know, maybe I'm totally off base.
Counter point, how much pre race coverage do you see of a WC before the big day?
I'm going with "bugger all".
