Does anyone know anything about a planned release date for the new Rockshox Boxxer? teams seem to have been running it for quite a while now must be close to being released?
Probably at the WC in Lenzerheide in early June. Rumors are that they are going to do it like SRAM did with the Transmission, releasing it at the first big XC Event of the season.

Are we expecting Boxxer, Vivid, and Reverb AXS updates? Or just the fork and shock?
The new brake won’t be branded RockShox obviously, but as a DH oriented product, might it be released at the same time?

SRAM has quite a long list of releases for this year.
How many have been done so far... Force, Transmission...
Already seen in the wild are...SID line, Boxxer, Vivid, GX Transmission, Code calipers
The new RED road group that "might" have a shocking piece of tech in it is "rumored" to be released at the Tour de France.
Reverb AXS has been the most tight-lipped one. Although, from what I understand, there have been prototypes out there right under our noses. The new SID had been on bikes for multiple World Cups last year before anyone realized it
Jesse states that the clamps are custom bits to make it work.
If I remember right, Seth, aside from the clamp issues, also couldn't clear the battery very well with his saddle. I wanna say that Jesse stated somewhere that he had to find a seat with the right rail height to clear. Looks like a fairly standard Reverb AXS
I wouldn't be surprised if SRAM is making a lighter "race" version of the battery. There's quite a bit of dead space in that battery. Last year there was some scuttlebutt about one existing.
I doubt that axs reverb is a new version. Looks the same. Jesse is certainly not the only one having tire to battery clearance issues. I'd expect a new version to significantly different. In most ways it's a bit behind compared to cabled droppers from other brands: 170mm is still the longest available, stack is higher than a lot of the competition, and battery sticks out and can make tire buzz an issue. Fixing those issues on a new version would require pretty significant changes and would be visually pretty different too I'd bet.
Somewhere, about a year ago, there was a picture of either Nino Schurter or Jolanda Neff's bike from a WC XC race weekend that had a reverb that was definitely a newer version. The mounting of the battery/post head looked completely different than the current version. I've tried to find the picture but I think it was scrubbed by whatever site posted it.
Positive. I'm leaning more toward it being on Jolanda Neff's bike from memory. You could see the same AXS battery but it mounted differently, presumably to create better tire clearance.
Hum. I'm intrigued! I wish someone could find those photos. But it doesn't make sense that Neff or any xc racer would need more clearance. Short travel droppers and short suspension travel means tire to battery clearance is usually ample, right?. It's on long travel bikes with long droppers (and shortish chainstays) that the issue arises.
Edit: then again, Neff may have just been testing it even if xc bikes don't need the clearance?

I read—from some rando on the internet, so take it for what it’s worth—that a 200mm reverb AXS has shown up on dealer B2B sites.
Now here I am—some rando on the internet—repeating it. Take it for what it’s worth.

On the vital podcast Dakota said the new race frame they were trying to reduce weight. He said the current bike was 41 or 43lb and they want to get to 38lb I believe he said?
He said the original prototype they raced last year was 41-43 or thereabouts. They've had the 'new' prototype (that was light) since the fall and it sounds like it was still too heavy. So this is the next version. That he said 'should be production'. Looks like a lot of loam and mud will collect in there. Love that Jeff is teasing the frame 2 weeks before the season. So bad. Should have been in racer's hands months ago--as Dakota eluded to on the podcast.

I don't think she was running it for tire clearance, probably more for proof of concept. I seem to remember that the picture was from practice, then during the race she was running the current AXS post. I could imagine Sram would prefer an XC racer to test out the new post because if there was an issue they could just roll into the pits and deal with it, whereas if they had an Enduro Racer testing the post during practice and there was an issue that could really screw up their practice session and potentially hurt their chances in the race.

Joe Breeden seems to be getting along dandy fine with the heavy bike in this week's Vital RAW. And I thought people were adding lead weights to their bottom brackets last season. Seems like you have to do a lot of work to shave 5 pounds off a frame. Would be shocked if it's that much.

The heavy bike was the one they were using last year, which was built like a tank. They are trying to shave some weight from the current version (completely different frame shape).

Dakota mentioned that he thinks he’s losing time in pedal sections on a heavy bike no matter how hard he is pushing. He said this bike, they are trying to make more well rounded.
It’s a good podcast that talks a lot about the new bike.
Beat me to it. That reservoir looks way different. Probably the wireless stuff?
Yeah its the wireless shock, we have seen the air version but this is the first time I've seen the coil variant.
Revamped Ragley lineup dropping tomorrow it seems
Hey my shock is wireless too! I’m just like Ritchie for real now

Jesse posted pics of one of the Reverb protos by the looks of things...
Nah it seems that was a previous one just mounted different direction.
That's what he said, but Seth showed that it doesn't actually work. The general consensus is that Jesse just covered his tracks.
Yeah, i tried it too.
Doesn’t work

Seth made the battery fit by remoting it via a cable, the issue was the clamp itself not clearing the seat.

Are you sure it was axs? Nino used some other brand of dropper in the past (presumably to save weight).

Someone is making a modern version of this

I don't know what everyone is worrying about, they'll get at least 4 runs before qualifying, thats heaps. I only need 2 for my local races.

Eh, that’s the thing about internet randos—you can’t trust ‘em…
