New presenter for Wyn TV!
got grice on the line before his gen S announcement. he talks about the move
Man, that's too bad. His 2019 season was great until that big off.
I hope he's past the TBI and able to do great things with his life.
Honestly, he probably just bypassed a huge risk/low reward situation in opting out of a pro DH career.
Kate Courtney took 1st at the Western Cape XCO Cup. Excellent way to start the season 🤘
New Mondraker rider will be announced tomorrow!
Looks like a stylish jumper on vans!!

Jack Moir officially riding Fox Racing in 2023 and beyond but will only be rocking helmets and guards.
Who knows anything on Keegan wright? He was a great rider back in 2018-20, he's been struggling to find teams this past years...
I wasn’t able to get a photo (bad phone, not because I was told no photo) but the Pivot boys were getting around Queenstown Bike Park this afternoon on a new CNC lugged downhill bike with carbon tubing.
Not sure if this counts as team rumours or tech news so will post in both.
was on the yeti e-bike team last season but looks like not anymore.
Canyon setup for Mikayla Parton
whelp my skepticism didn't exactly pan out here, happy to say I'm wrong! The cannondale enduro team seems like a good group
Lew Buchanan off Norco. Going frame shopping on his YT.
no way!
I'm assuming this is due to his OF deal? What a bunch of prudes.
I’m sure he posted photos of a pivot the other day… but then at the same time, 5 or so week ago I’m sure he announced he wa staying on Norco for ‘23.
one would assume the onlyfans deal put paid to that.
A decent chunk of youtube views for mtb stuff supposedly comes from teens/tweens. Hard to fault Norco for being uncomfortable with the optics of him having only fans advertised on his helmet (I mean his mtb helmet just to be clear). And lets be real, if only fans really wanted to show they're not just porn, they'd make a separate but identical platform for non porn content only and call it something else. Having "only fans" emblazoned on a helmet is just like any other advertising, it's meant to get more people on that site where they might find "other" content where only fans makes their real money. But maybe I'm being too cynical.
Edit: just to be clear, I think only fans is a fine platform and lot better system than the exploitative porn of old. I'm just saying it's understandable why Norco would view it as a pr minefield.
If you would listen to the podcast that was mentioned at the time Lewis announced his sponsorship, OnlyFans was/is owned by a porn baron who clearly stated he wants porn to be limited to very-much-porn sites and make OnlyFans into a non-porn site. At least that's what has been communicated.
People like Lewis will get a lot of flak and pushback obviously, but if the platform is successful in turning around the ship, these people will just be the first ones going to the new direction with more following later. And it's obvious why OF is sponsoring people like that today. I also mentioned the Ducati rider in Hagerty's drag race. It was a bit of an eyebrow riser, but it is what it is.

Will it be possible to lose the porn image the platform has amassed? Maybe not, time will tell.
Here is the YouTube video. Lewis doesn't indulge much as to why he is no longer with Norco, but it sounds like the plan is to buy multiple frames throughout the year to find out what he likes.
Without knowing the details of why Lewis and Norco split ways, I think it's easy to assume it was due to the OnlyFans sponsorship, but it's also likely there were other factors at play. I'd be bummed if Norco pulled the plug just because of the OF deal, but it does seem like a tricky situation to navigate for a brand. It reminds me of when Dean Wilson was sponsored by a CBD company a few years ago, and the Supercross world was all worked up. Now CBD is so normalized, and that sounds ridiculous. Maybe OnlyFans will be looked at the same way in a few years?
Wasn’t expecting this , nice one Mikayla!
Still basically a privateer on canyon as opposed to a trek.
Let's not kid ourselfs. This is definitley a result of signing the deal on the onlyfans sponsorship. Usually, sponsors reserve the right to immediately terminate their relations in case athletes do anything that might harm the reputation of the sponsor. I'm sure Norco saw Lewis' move as a breach of contract. And who can honestly blame them. I wouldn't want my brand to be associated with a p*rn website.
Saw this pop up on the local buy and sell the other day
