Probably. Might also have a power meter. He's not using flight control suspension, which is interesting.
To be honest, very few people (pro’s)ride rockshox Flight attendant, maybe more suited for trail riding than enduro? A few riders on Trek team used it and some on specialized sram?
it is interesting but is it needed?
With the new shiffters, both for the mech and the AXS dropper.
That's an integrated bash guard on the chainring and taped crank arms.
That's also the new Sram levers and maybe the proto calipers ?
Interestingly, the mech don't have anymore branding.
Nothing new, only refine parts that'll be release this spring
Definitely all the new shit.
A better look at the new caliper too.
Yup, the levers stick out from the handlebar like crazy... Too bad I didn't buy a set of the 'old' Codes when they were 200 € a pair :/
The crank being taped up and having holes in it... That would make it not carbon! Which is a good thing in my book if I'm honest.
Those bars are crazy narrow
You need a set? I have 4 sets of newRSC Codes as extra, spare
740mm iirc (he's 170cm)
Looks like a wing mirror off some bodged attempt of a homemade café racer!
Yeah thats the new crank, they look super burly in person. I don't think they are too light, I may or may not have held a set, but didn't put them on a scale.
I'm super surprised by that caliper though. They look sick, I'm extremely curious to see if they are switching to mineral oil.
looks like jesse's testing that new vivid/X2-style airshock from RS.
And running a new dual button AXS remote (same mounting style as the new AXS shifter).
Spitballing here, but I think SRAM may have ponied up some money for this deal to keep Jesse on the books as a development rider/tester, dude is in tune with his gear and gives good feedback it seems.
Anyone have any idea what a second button on the dropper remote would be good for? As well, is there any indication you can run the "old" AXS controllers with the new derailleur/dropper if you don't like the new ones?
I really like the shape of the original AXS controllers (and don't even like the updated rocker paddle), and definitely wouldn't want one of the bigger new ones.
I could see a use for a 2-button one on the dropper side for integration on flight attendant bikes though (like to switch presets).
Apparently yes
There was a recent firmware update for the current controllers, possibly that was to provide support for the new components when they launch.
2nd button is confirmed for Flight Attendant. It also gives you the option to vary what each button does - you can have a gear change AND the dropper drop on the left remote (and the other gear change on the right). I'm guessing an e-bike middrive motor from Sram would also incorporate into the AXS ecosystem.
Nothing I’d miss with the old controllers then.
🤤
The surron crowd is gonna love this.
5dev cranks without holes?
From the little bit that isnt taped over it kinda looks like the center of the crank is set in a little bit. Maybe to try and prevent paint wear from shoe/foot rubbing
saw that, looked kinda like that shapeshifter remote from the strive but he‘s on the spectral.
edit: okay as some have mentioned it's also a flight attended remote.
Clean that Vaseline off the camera lens and maybe we could tell.
Hoping Jesse will post a bike check on youtube soon.
my guess will be not with what he's actually riding until that new stuff is officially released.
It seems like the best fork is coming to the market
