It is indeed well known that this new generation from Sram will use the UDH standard that already exists on many frames.
OK I'm dumb. Thank you guys. Case closed.
It'll be compatible with udh frames, but I'm not seeing the part that threads together to mount it (in the place of the udh) in the craigslist ad? But, perhaps it's just not photographed.
Ad deleted, that went by fast.
Doesn't that part come w/ the frame? I'd assume it uses whatever bolt holds the UDH on (same way a standard mount uses the bolt that comes w/ the frame)
It said it had been up for 18 hours when I clicked through...
I mean the part of the current udh that's a shaft that sticks out and slots into the frame (concentric to the axle). With trunnion mount that part would have to be separate, otherwise it couldn't be assembled. It'd be like a sex bolt but custom. Also the derailleur has to pivot about this axis, so mounting bolt for a current udh will (probably?) not work.
Looking at the new shifter and the mount, I wonder if the left-to-right and vice-versa Matchmaker X crowd will be able to run it inboard enough now that it's single sided...
Dakota Norton riding the new Intense frame.
I just watched the video and came here for some answers. That rear suspension looked like it’s working good.
Looks like either new TRP rotors or he’s running the Galfer Shark fin rotors.
They definitely dont have the shark fins on them.
doesn‘t even look close to the galfer‘s IMO, at least what i can make out of that blurry picture
gasgas ebikes are now official
Officially the most ironically named.
Came here to say this.
BatteryBattery
We're gonna need a bigger bandwagon. Wake me when Gasgas makes an electric trials bicycle.
A real shame as their just rebranded R-Raymon bikes, which is not one of the more interesting brands
in the biz (and that's a compliment)...
Could be nothing, but that box/foam just doesn't look like something that SRAM would ship their top-of-the-line wireless shifting system in...what are the chances this came straight off AliExpress?
This is just how they would ship it, but usually they use black foam.
Looks like NSB will be unveiling something at Freeride Fiesta. My guess would be cranks.

I’m going to be perfectly honest here and say I hope, more than many things, that this is a publicity/marketing stunt.
that would be pure genius, and I would applaud their efforts
It definitely is quite a bit different than what their current packaging is like for all their components.
Curious if anyone was able to scan the QR code displayed on the box. Couldn't get it to work on my phone.
Couple of thoughts on that; 1. the visible edges of the box are the same red as the included literature and 2. SRAM has gotten a fair amount of blowback for the amount of waste (huge boxes, lots of plastic) their packaging generates so maybe they are trying to address that?
I wasn't able to get the QR code to work either...
They've been a thing for a while in Yurop. This is as far back as i could be bothered to scroll.

That's not to say they aren't completely underwhelming.
Always interested in new things from NSB. Some polished NSB cranks would look great on my matte grey Slayer...
After a bit of resizing in PS, it worked for me. Redirects into Appstore Sram AXS app.
