a trunion 225x75 shock is shorter than 230mm so it's possible to use that for DH application, might not even need to change the rocker.

I checked the DHX2 and Float X2 and none are available in a similar ETE size with maybe more stroke, that you could then short-stroke (as you do metric shocks). Super Deluxes obviously won't be, as they are metric and thus much less custom than old imperial shocks were.
Am I missing something?

But really, absolutely love to see this bike evolve over the years in such a non year by year way. Commmencal just do it when it's an advantage to racing and not because "it's time for the new one". The current surpreme and this proto both mixing it up at the top proves how much effort they put into their teams and bikes. Also always awesome to see Max waiting at the bottom for his riders to come down at almost every race.
I've heard murmurs of a high pivot Meta AM proto kicking around as well.
