_Lan Added a reply to Frame Design
10/21/2023 6:58pm I agree with your observations. Here's my latest creation. split High pivot pinion gearbox downduro bike. 210mm travel for 75mm stroke. around 120% anti-squat, 90% anti-rise, 25% progression. Next design will have a motor in it as I feel this analog one outside of small design details, is about perfect for my use with the current available components.

6/28/2023 8:05pm captions are reversed. Also shock eyelet bearings are different? Loris is using the fox 30mms while Kade is running something that looks to be easier to uninstall.

The idler on my bike needs replacing and they are pricey for what they are. I tried finding a cheaper solution and came across fixie sprockets. It seems possible to design a carrier for it. This is my interpretation that requires a bb tool and a chain wrench to install. Will still need to produce one to try but...

4/3/2022 1:50am Just had the first ride today. Checking for bolts unthreading and signs of failure while hitting bigger and bigger huck to flats. Not to the point of bottoming out mind, still don't fully trust the bike. Really love how the bike feels so far.

4/3/2022 1:39am mk3 is the updated mk1 haha. Still some problems despite changing suppliers. Really have to be there in person to guide the work to get what you want. Language barrier is a problem too. Bike is very usable though despite the flaws. Hopefully it's strong enough and I'll be able to enjoy it for a long time.

4/3/2022 12:03am Also, sprocket loosens over time. Guess I'll need to put loctite on it

4/2/2022 11:42pm Lol, made me check the bike. Fortunately that's just a strand of teflon tape.

4/1/2022 8:47am Finally had one made. Using a 3/32 surley 15T sprocket. Works as intended.

12/1/2021 1:56am Happened to one out of four of my dhr2 dh casing too. After a few rides It now holds air but will still deflate faster overtime than the assegai dh casing it's paired with.

11/18/2021 4:56am interesting design choice. Putting the trunnion bearing on the shock eye that doesn't rotate much. Water bottle clearance for smaller sizes?

11/5/2021 3:08am Yeah, need to make sure it clears the crank arm and frame. Will be 3d printing one for testing as soon as the sprockets I ordered arrive. It should be an easy fix though, just make the lock ring thinner etc. it's for my own bike design so I'm able to make changes to make it fit. Just thought I'd...

8/13/2021 7:00am I think melonhead is saying the longest stroke you can get for a 230mm shock is 65mm. a trunion 225x75 shock is shorter than 230mm so it's possible to use that for DH application, might not even need to change the rocker.
