the center of the idler is concentric with the main pivot so the chainline goes above it resulting in less anti-squat. I did a rough plot of the Range in Linkage and it shows the anti-squat to be very low. I designed a bike with a similar layout and had to put the idler lower than the main pivot and on the seatstay to get 100%+ anti-squat. Someone then dm'ed me saying he holds the patent to the design and will be asking for a licensing fee if I intend to sell my bike. Pretty sure that's the reason Norco...

Would like to see some graphs. Anti-squat might be below 100% since the idler is concentric to the fixed pivot. Maybe their hands were tied because someone was asking for a licensing fee that they were not willing to pay.

All bike brands should also publish actual seat angle and offset so we can easily calculate our top tube length at our preferred saddle height, but I'm guessing 60 something seat angle doesn't look good on paper.

Been testing the bike and it's awesome. Performs like a DH bike and climbs like a trail bike. Done testing it at 21% progressivity and currently testing the 62% progressivity shock mount.

11/26/2020 2:12am As far as I know patents don't come into play until you commercialize your product. But hey maybe you'll get an overly litigious patent troll who hints at taking legal action at you even if it's just for personal use so who knows.

Not the Shore but the unreleased one but I could be wrong and it's mounted to the pivot The Devici protototype definitely is though
