Supply chain issues could have caused a shift in spec after those pics were taken.

No shit ?! I though brands like Moustache shut down their factory for the craic ...

Whatever the reason, like I said they didn't bother retaking the pictures with the proper specs. Maybe one day they will shoot the product page/catalog picture with the wrong paint scheme and you will be ok with that too, you know shortage of paint or something ...

The Yeti? It has an Infinity logo on the chainstay, so I guess there is some kind of linear linkage there with some rearward axle path in the beginning of the travel.

Possibly a rail just like on non electric bikes. But still, the black peice connecting the Chainstay and the rocker screams a six bar linkage.

Die you see the plethora of the patents they have covering a linkage variant of mounting the main pivot that is currently mounted to the rail sled?

Just opened the picture at full res, it is indeed a 6 bar. Two short links connected by the vertical link and a separate Chainstay and seatstay. Very much like the Supreme proto.

I wonder wether more companies will start testing this design. It looks like a great way to make an horst bike have an actual rearward axle path.

Regardless of the number of the links, a rearward axle path still requires an idler. Or has tons of pedal kickback.

What I'm interested in is if their normal bikes will also go 6-bar or if they will stick to rails? A 6-bar setup would enable an aluminium frame (as if Yeti would do aluminium :D ).

are they long stroking those things? 160mm in the back as capable as these new enduro bikes may be is never the same as 200mm of good old travel! The current Fury is a sick rig too.

Just listening to the Marginal Gains podcast, where it was mentioned that Silca may be working on a high end shock pump. That is really something I would look at.

PB bike check claims 190mm Fox 40 and 160mm rear travel so not long stroked and stock Force linkage...

I actually checked before that PB bike check went live. Looks like the stock linkage and shock. 162mm in my rough drawing

the force uses a 230mmx65mm shock which is the longest you can get, so must be a standard shock, probably impossible to overstroke it after some research. Doesn't look to be a lot of clearance in the front triangle either

Nope. There are larger shocks available for downhill and superenduro (like the Pole Stamina 180): 250x75

Maybe some of the GT bikes had purposefully mislabeled frames to confuse us? Seems like their is a sticker at the beginning here that may have covered up the Force name
