Has anyone dug into this supposed November deadline for team signings? I assume even if the UCI wants teams by then, that doesn’t necessarily mean the public will get the same info.
It’s not supposed it’s in the rule book. Teams have to be registered by Nov 15th including who is on the team. No set date for when the teams get announced by the UCI. In the past it’s been a month after the deadline but I would guess it wouldn’t be until Jan 1 when current contracts expire.

Sad update, knowing its not sorted yet (and how messy the end obviously would have been). Would love for him to do a random enduro+DH program akin to Rude and Melamed's end of season but... Understand how impractical that is. Especially traveling from where he is.
But glad he's been restin up and getting some paddle outs. No better place to reset the mind then waiting on Poseidon to send you a set...
FWIW, I can still see 2 2025-WC, 2 2024-WC and 1 2023-WC jerseys available on his website. Shipping rate might be a bit steep for EU...
FWIW, I can still see 2 2025-WC, 2 2024-WC and 1 2023-WC jerseys available on his website. Shipping rate might be a bit steep for EU, but that's fair giving how many times AU/NZ customers/riders have to pay huge rates for US/EU goods/travels.
I'm still wondering if my WAF is high enough for this kind of purchase... 😆
Ahh I jumped the gun, he hadn't added those ones to the store when I was looking at it

Ari-tirement brand. At this point I'm kinda impressed Ari can afford to offer all these contracts to rider and influencers left and right. They got some money launderin things goin on in utah er wut
Ari riders just getting free bikes looking at influencers signing contracts... (and yes im making this scenario up although i wouldnt be surprised to say the least. I know they were sponsoring that 99spokes youtube channel)
Watching the Downtime Podcast with Marcus Flossman . I just got super upset. He talks about arranging a legal way to deliver bikes to customers while under court administration where he bought the bikes to deliver to the customers with his own money but then later on in the video, he’s basically shrugging 🤷🏼♂️ his shoulders when it came to supporting YT Mob , says the court wouldn’t let them pay the riders or the team. Riders are paid as independent contractors. So we now know he bought the company back. My question is why the heck didn’t he enter into personal contracts with each of these riders if A) he had money to bought bikes for customers during administration and B enough money to now buy the company back
Feels like he hug the MOB out to dry. Am I missing something

Although we feel like the companies with downhill teams have a responsibility to the sport - as if they were an NFL team or premiere league team where the actual sport / team is their business - bike companies are only in business of selling bikes, and the bike team is simply a marketing opportunity/ expense.
I wish this were not the case. The business is not racing (for a bike company), it’s just selling rolling widgets.

Wow! Flossman came off as so arrogant saying that they were a family and he was disappointed in his racers being upset. He literally questioned their loyalty. I hope Tippy does not sign with them. They don't deserve him.

I don't understand what you are getting at. YT made a financial commitment to those racers, those racers fulfilled their end of the agreement and Markus failed to pay them what he owed them.
Whether you think a race team is a good investment or not, a business owner should pay their obligations.
While it may be legal to not pay the team members it isn't ethical.
Somebody should make a mega list of all proposed rumors so far.
I don't have time today to edit, but I made a copy of my sheet from last year. Feel free to edit it and update all the points columns and team members.

Wonder how many AXS batteries that takes
Cha-ching!

It actually runs on 2032's
🤔
i assume she's jus sayin 'look at all this old, out of date, stuff...'
sneak diss i dunno. are we still going with a Commencal rumor?
she's just trolling you guys ............. to good effect too.
She should have 2 YT cups..
Jesse Melamed to Ari in 2026, he posted a ride on Strava in Utah today

Probably getting riders at a bargain, not a lot of options for a lot of these guys.

His new canyon strive was at ridewrap in Whistler last week.
Nope
I assumed that was just a joke (I liked it anyway).
In the same spirit, Jack Moir called out a rider on a Frameworks in his latest Thredbo video. Therefore Jack Moir to Frameworks.
And pretty cool that someone's gone to the trouble to get one here, too.
def a confirmation i heard this weekend
no intense factory with Breeden, and the Nukeproof rumours seem pretty accurate.......
Between Moi Moi and Neko, Frameworks would be the most popular MTB brand on YouTube..
Let it be so! Jack does have a good pool of outside sponsors but may just give him free stuff in exchange for brand promotion…
But…wait for it…
FraMOIRks Racing!!!! Oooh. It’s Monday.😂

I wish this stayed as a TEAM RUMORS thread, instead of who YT should have paid thread. Kick rocks.
January 1st can't come soon enough.
