It's not exactly MTB news, but the winner of Milan San-Remo, the longest classic/monument in road cycling, just won using a dropper post: https://www.velonews.com/news/road/milan-san-remo-dropper-post-was-mate… He was also getting pretty close to the camera bikes on the descent and was probably getting a good tow from them after every hairpin, but he did win it with his downhill attack. He also nearly crashed three or four times on the descent and I'm sure a lower centre of gravity saved him there. For the tech side, I wonder what brand he was using and how it was operated. MSR is pretty flat...

Although not historically correct, I must say this Yeti is a beauty, but the simple, clean lines of the Specialized are something too... Yeti by a slight margin and because I'm a Yeti owner and longtime fan.

Yeah, and all the people that have been on an IH Sunday, me included, were let down and totally unhappy with its performance. And the current Pivot Phoenix is shit… 🤣

I just love how no matter what INTENSE does you all have some negative comments!!! How about this? How about we wait and see what happens?? What a novel idea!! If INTENSE did nothing you we say "great, another season same bike". If INTENSE creates something new "that thing is hideous and will be shit". How about we at the very least applaud the brand for trying something new? It takes a bold person to step out with a different approach AND this is DH racing, not like DH racing sells bikes? Unless AG, Seth or DAK do really well...

dak already rode a HP-bike with the devinci wilson proto that was never released. first people were complaining that only AG got tge new bike, now it seems the other team riders also got on the new ride and people are still complaining. did anyone complain when not every commencal rider was on the new proto? don‘t think so!!

Man, How cool would it be to see Intense just come out with a line of high quality aluminum, Horst Pivot, made in Cali bikes? Bring them back to their roots. Ditch the carbon, get back to what made them great back in the day

I still don’t see how this is in anyway as good as a schrader valve. Pop the valve out of a schrader and you have a huge tide to put sealant down. And they’re cheap as chips. We just need someone to make them in fancy colours. I believe a commenter on PB said just call them Presta Boost. Lol

Look at that thing! It's like a Roubaix from the 90s mixed with a Manitou arch.. Does that mean fox at some point will use a backwards arch for all forks? Manitou stuck to their guns and now the big dawgs follow.
