This is an older frame to UDH compatible conversion, not an UDH compatible frame derailleur hanger for the older derailleurs. It's to mount Transmission derailleurs on old frames.

Yeah, they'll do a great job dialing in compliance, I’m sure of it. They appear to have the resources to alter the bike for both riders preferences and make a stiff bike for Greg and maybe a less stiff bike for Danny. Sometimes it’s not about finding the “right” stiffness for the bike but what the rider believes makes them faster. If a rider believes a stiffer chassis suits their strengths and will help them go faster, then make it stiffer. We have entered the part of silly season where people float (and debate!) wild speculation that a 42 year old Dan Atherton returns to downhill (last result was 57th at Crankworx in 2018) on a new rubber band bike to chase a $100k podium. Someone should tell Manitou how wrong it is for them to sell boatloads of Dorado's to Surron owners. I would be extremely surprised if they actually sold more to the MTB market at this point. A big suspension company would have to be pretty clueless to ignore the e-moto market at this point tbh.

Yes, and the relevance to MTB is the fact that the demand for 40/58's for e-moto's is significant and why haven't any of the established suspension companies pursued that market which at this point looks poised to dwarf the MTB DH fork market.

Be nice. Also, you have to remember that development is secret and maybe he doesn't want to put that XXX brand is making a USD fork as they will know he is the one who leaked it, as potentially only a handful of people currently know.

Brother do you know what a rumour is? If I just tell everyone what brand is developing it or which riders will be running it this season it's not a rumour it's just a statement of fact. Keeping it vague enough for people to guess and put forward some theories as to who it could be is what makes it fun.

I guess it’s not out of the question that Tahnee does ride a rebadged Canyon but there’s got to be some mixed emotions there. Good to do well on a bike you were involved in developing. Bad to do free marketing for a brand that just dropped you.

I mean Norco could have just said fuck it, the team are 90% of our entire marketing budget. Marketing budgets are huge. They can also work into rider contracts that they have to do x amount of photo/video shoots for product. With everything going on with wb and all the team stuff, maybe they are “buying the dip” and saying fuck it, everyone else is getting out, let’s go all in and that will be our marketing plan. Not saying things don’t work out well in the end. I just imagine it must be frustrating to spend years getting a bike to feel exactly how you want it and then immediately move on for business reasons. Not to mention handing over all your homework to the next rider.
