1/1/2021 6:14pm with all the respect to Lew, I doubt Nigel Page went away from family in xmas to sort out a contract with Lew Buchanan... probably Nigel went there to visit someone, spend his xmas over there, riding or whatever he wanted to do.. on the other hand..this is the negative point of riders becoming youtubers..no announcements until they have enough content for the next YouTube video...he is milking the masked photos already...

1/1/2021 7:26am Giant, at least here in Australia support a LOT of riders and athletes. Lot's of endorsement type deals for athletes of other sports to ride their bikes, but they support a lot of Juniors and up and coming racers here. It's commendable stuff actually. It seems they are not throwing all their $$ into a racer(s) but rather distributing it at a grassroots level and helping a lot of youngsters reach their potential in a relatively expensive sport.

12/31/2020 8:53am Matthew Sterling seems like a promising junior for Giant Factory, wonder what's in his future with them.

12/30/2020 7:34pm Could be, but the GOAT Minnaar had couple down years before refinding his form, too. I wouldn't count Gwin out just yet, I'm no fanboy but I think he's still has couple years left once he's able to focus on riding again.

12/25/2020 7:10am I don’t know. Maybe they just realized they don’t need those big names anymore to sell bikes. It seems they’ve placed the brand where they wanted it to be. After all their bikes are constantly sold out anyways. So what’s the point in more promotion when you can’t fulfill more orders. I hope they’ll put much of that saved money into customer service. At least that’s what Flossmann hinted at in an interviewer earlier this year.

12/23/2020 8:53am yes does look pretty awesome! as opposed to this questionable solution from Avy. I mean, I'm sure it performs great but I'm not a fan of the execution. http://avalanchedownhillracing.com/Cartridge%20Kit/RAMP.htm

12/10/2020 12:26pm I can't see that being the new Nomad, I would bet that they'd go with same link configuration as their other bikes.

12/10/2020 8:47am Can we just talk about this for a moment? What can the big guys argue against gearbox after seeing this? Like sign me up https://www.vitalmtb.com/community/Shredmaster-2020,53572/setup,42992 but it limits suspension design.. Nevermind but its heavy... wait 39lbs?..... Nevermind It will ruin the aesthetic... er.... Nevermind We just don't want to commit to it? Bingo

11/16/2020 6:49pm I'm almost 54, still ride about 5 days a week but feel the loss in strength and motivation to ride more laps, some of it is internal and some external. I'm definitely considering an e-bike as long as I can ride the same trails i ride on my enduro bike. I feel like the industry is trending in the right...

11/16/2020 6:44pm Typically 2-3 hours. But it's more the rides I would never even consider on an enduro bike. Before going electric, 15km and 600-800m climbing would be a good day out. Now it's 30+km. Actually battery range is my biggest limiting factor. (500 watt hours) I've done a few 50+km adventures to spots you would never consider taking a bike, real off the beaten path trails to amazing lookouts and scenery. I will be first to admit, my fitness level isn't exactly top notch. But the eeb allows me to go on rides with my buddies who race EWS/Elite level, stay...

11/16/2020 11:48am I've been following Vital MTB (best media source in the game!) religiously since before it was Vital MTB back when I was 11 years old and this thread is the one that has prompted me to make an official account login so I can comment. I couldn't agree more with StudBeefpile - the wide, bermy flow trails that are popping up all over the US absolutely suck. There is a complete disconnect between the natural terrain and geography that once defined and dictated the course of trails. You could pick up many of these new age flow trails and place...
