I think you're on point for the travel ranges you've listed above. I would imagine the focus for the 38/ZEB is more focused on E-bike then longer travel enduro bikes, at least in the eyes of the manufacturers selling to bike companies. But as mentioned before in this thread love em or hate em maybe E-bikes will benefit us. Cant complain about better equipment with more longevity right?

Maxxis High Roller II in 2.5s is great all rounder in all dirt conditions (also pedals nice) but once they are slightly worn out riding anything steep is tricky. Can get wierd on really hard pack. Maxxis DHR II 2.4s great in all dirt conditions other than super dry dust they get a bit understeery Continental Der Kaiser 2.4s Roll amazing, great all conditions. Not the most grip on off camber roots rocks. Schwalbe Magic Mary 2.35s Amazing in the mud, loose dirt. Wear out quickly. That looks cleaaaaaaaaan. know its still unpopular, but i'm slowly being pushed towards the option of an ebike in my line up. My Jeep and friends trucks get beat to shit every year and maintenance costs and gas add up from riding at my local shuttle spot. It has an 9km fire road all the trails plus the same on the way back from two sides and someday's i'm just one or two people. Met has been using that kind of technology (at least on the full face parahute). I'm easily sweating from the head and experience the same kind of issues with regular helmets. On the met the front pad is replaced by a full silicone pad with small "channels" to make the sweat run on the side and it does work pretty damn well. I've been thinking of buying replacement pads from met to ad to my regular helmets (I just checked and they sell the silicone pad by itself).

I thought the Chase Mod was just for street steeze.
