Absolutely! Been a Reece fan since forever, but something about this bike does seem to be a bit off. Reminds me of the Norco days of Blenki: the bike was stunning, but never really delivered. I have no doubt the bike will keep evolving, but since Rd1 both the body language and bike behaviour have not been impressive.

Armchair bullshit opinion coming up but anyone else think Something about Reece’s position on the gamux just looks a bit too rearward ? Not quite as stable as others. Hope he can get in the groove this weekend

One of my ridding buddies has one of these, after the V1 he had was replaced under warranty for bushing play. Honestly, for how much it costs, it's one of the most underwhelming experiences I had (got to ride his bike a few times). Between this, a ZEB Select+ and a DVO Onyx SC, I would put its performance on par with the DVO (which costs much less) and bellow the ZEB. The EXT, soon after being replaced under warrantly, started to develop bushing play again, to the point that the sanctions wouldn't even slide on the lowers. To make...

I love how some are now forced to ride 160 bikes because their sponsors don't make DH bikes. Must drive some of these guys nuts bringing a pump shotgun to a machine gun fight.

I'm sorry but I'll never be able to trust any stoppers with the Avid/Sram logo on them. I bought a 4600€ bike which came equipped with Sram Guide brakes and they've been nothing but a headache since I first rode the bike. The seem alright after bleeding when coming out of the store, but as soon as I hit some more demanding trails, they just don't perform. The gap between the pads and the rotor becomes larger on every run down the track (getting to the point where the lever touches the grip) and as soon as they heat up...

bturman Liked a product review 2014 Test Sessions: Scott Genius LT 700 Tuned

Reviewed by Evan Turpen and Steve Wentz // Photos by Shawn Spomer and Lear Miller For 2014, Scott went back to the drawing board with their do-it-all Genius LT. The redesigned bike has been reduced from 185 to 170mm travel, but gains a new suspension design, 27.5-inch wheels, revised geometry, and a simple lever designed to enable you to pedal it up just about anything you'd like to rally back down. While it may look similar to the Genius 700, the Genius LT 700 is a big-mountain tamer with extra travel to back it up. The latest version looks clean...
