Us bike nerds notice when there's a new color bolt on a stem. Someone definitely would have noticed Nino and Filippo winning Cape Epic on 32" wheels. They are easy to spot.

this is my bike, XL Range VLT, DH/DD tyres, 720wh battery. Park tool scale errors out at 28kg lol, so had to use some bathroom scales. 31kg Sad She thicc, but it's pretty much a downhill bike spec and ride quality. Nothing breaks.

Rejoice at a company actually putting the big battery on the bike instead of 600wh + range extender = heavier than an 800wh internal. Of all the new bikes with the new Bosch stuff (Reuglator, Vala, who else am I missing?) The Trek Rail was the only one to have the 800wh. (enough juice to actually do a "self shuttle day")

That’s funny. I have the “big grimace bike,“ and yeah it’s heavy. I can tell you that it’s mostly in the frame. Word on the street is the new Powertube battery is significantly lighter. Friend of mine has last years Sight size XL, and it’s 58 pounds with carbon wheels and carbon cranks.

I kinda fell for it. I used to like loud-ish hubs, but not I9 loud… Admittedly been on Onyx hubs for a couple years. Can’t deal with excessively loud hubs anymore.

I’ll take numbers and letters that correspond to anything over “Comp, Expert, Elite, and Pro” What’s more better, Elite or Expert? 😂

In an industry full of confusing nomenclature (see: "EXO+ Maxxterra" vs. "TLR Gravity Pro Addix Soft"), I've always found Giant's naming system to be particularly confusing. "Trance X E+ Advanced Elite." Imagine being a new customer! Totally hopeless.
