I don't understand the hate for e-bikes (pedal assist,) but I can totally get behind a ban on throttle-controlled e-motorcycles on bicycle trails. And this is coming from a motocross dude who also rides MTB. If it will go fast, spin the tire and uses a throttle, it's a motorcycle; It really doesn't matter if there are cranks and pedals attached to it if they don't have to be utilized. I'm also interested in seeing what's going to happen with these. From a legality standpoint, most of the trails around here aren't really policed by any authority, so it's like...

This is a step backwards. They should’ve made a full power, long travel, up and downhill beast as light as possible. Preferably with a gearbox motor and belt drive with the option for a big or small battery.

I use the soft side of Velcro tape. Literally can put it anywhere that the cable touches the frame or the chain. It deadens the noise very well. I even put it on the sides of chain guides where the plastic rubs the chain.

Interesting the reviewer felt the plastics were "silly" and doubled down on only a 5-year old thought they were "cool". This especially when OEM's put rubber bumpers of all kinds all over their bikes which are, for the most part, not easily replaceable. The plastic pieces can be replaced/re-freshened in seconds w/o surface prep, residue removal, etc. And they add a degree of impact protection that no clear stick-on protector kit can. Personally, I think it's one of the better features of the bike. Especially if, as someone who works on bikes, it would allow for cables and hoses to...
