4/19/2026 10:39am This Just In! Stark Motorcycles is going to be joining the MTB world with its EBike Called the Stark “NotaMoto”. This ebike has 80 horse power and a gear box. Apparently they made the decision to join the bike industry after one of the executives said- “ I mean its all bullshit. You can buy an ebike from Specialized at the same price as our motorcycles. But with like 1/1000th the power. We should just put mountain bike wheels on a Varg and just sell it to them. Theyre just in denial that they want a motorcycle and want to...

4/19/2026 10:12am Stoked for the Spesh gravity team winning world cups on those Brembos, but I don't dig any of those colors. The dipped in colored wax look, isn't for me.

4/18/2026 12:13pm Most importantly the Brembo's are garish and hideous.

4/18/2026 12:10pm Only big complaint about the Brembo brake is that it utilizes another new pad standard? 🙄 Disappointing if you ask me. Hopefully the performance justifies this. Also 1000 euros with a bleed kit is just insane to me. May as well just hold out and buy Intend trinities at that price point. Also disappointing that every set of Brembos at sea otter was assembled without oil so no one could actually feel the brakes. Luckily I got to feel them on a bike in whistler last season but didn't get to ride them around at all.

TheFBI Added a comment about press release Intend Launches the Hybrid Rover Shock
4/13/2026 4:14pm Right but if the steel spring is covering a 40kg weight range - which is massive - then surely a 130kg rider is basically getting all their support from air pressure and carrying a spring around for fun.

4/13/2026 11:56am So you can't change out the springs? Doesn't this mean that depending on rider weight the spring curve would be wildly different - with heavier riders getting more support from the air spring and lighter ones more coil?

4/12/2026 6:18am Interesting that they describe it as "aggressive all-mountain" rather than just enduro. Wonder if it's become a bit of a dirty word since the professional side of racing has effectively collapsed and brands want to paint their bikes as more all-round performers

4/5/2026 2:18pm You know aside from the carbon, the shock layout, the yoke, the tube diameter, the paint work, the branding, the build, it's pretty much a knolly.

2/19/2026 5:03am Linkage driven single pivot is not a four bar. You're looking at the suspension characteristics not the number of links, so it's a single pivot. Same for Delta.

2/19/2026 5:02am I'm sorry this is pedantic but every VPP and DW link suspension design is already a four bar linkage

1/26/2026 2:25pm all you need to know about PVD is that he once put mineral oil in a brake designed for DOT (might've been vice versa) to "see what would actually happen"

1/25/2026 4:46pm I once sent PVD an honest question by email about a technical drawing on his website and he answered : "W hat your asking falls into the 'that's a stupid question' category. Only a terrible person would answer a stupid question." Such a nice guy
