Well I’ll ask you then, is it just a well funded fest series event against the clock smothered in red bull branding ? Or is it the hardest race on the planet? As it is marketed to be. I think these types of comments from Gee give it a bit of an identity crisis type look, and ultimately i dont know if making statements like this really helps progress the event? It should just be left to naturally evolve. Having people like BK crying because people didn’t share lines, yet in the same breath saying its the most important race...

Damaging Torx bolt heads by blindly shoving Allen wrenches in them, or my torx wrenches by blindly using them on Allen bolts. You'd think I'd have learned by now. Or I just need to throw out all the Torx bolts. The day I realised I could use a regular one-way torque wrench on a left hand thread simply by coming at the fastener from the other side using an extension bar was a special day. I felt special in many ways.

They work quite well! Albeit its always a little goofy with the rise, but you can really put some weight into them. It always makes me giggle when I use em.

2 weeks ago I finally got around to having time to set up the new crankbrothers synthesis wheelset from vital fantasy (still so stoked thank you vital and crankbrothers). Pulled the tires and tannus tubeless off my oem set (which I can mount by hand without Tyre levers). Try to install them on the new set. 29r front goes on easy by hand. 27.5 rear is unbelievably tight to get the last little bit and needs levers to get on. Won’t hold air longer than 20min. Spray it with soapy water and it blows bubbles around the valve stem and...

As I get older, I'm trying to do stuff the "right" way instead of just making it up as I go. One of my main issues is that I'm a chronic over-tightener. It turns out that my hands are not calibrated to the torque spec. So I got a fancy torque wrench for working on my bike. The other day...

Allow me to pass out tin foil hats. One of these riders is an employee for Faction Bike Studio (Engineering house (MULTIPLE bike brands use their services)). What are the odds of both of them being employees? Being that they're QC based (relatively short driving distance to Highland) - could it be an eastern Canadian Brand (*cough* Devinci?), OR, Faction might just have a DH bike development in the works for an undisclosed brand (which seems more likely).

Its a good point though. Luckily I don't live in Seattle anymore, but a bike was way better at commuting then a car. Never had an ebike, but I coulda knocked off even more time off the commute. As it stands, I was already running into issues with ebikes passing at hyperspeed on narrow bike lanes in 2018. Cities really...

Sorry, last derailment. BUT, that was pretty fantastic writing @LePigPen. I wish I could express that masterfully in written words. Haha.

I think for those not as in tune with skateboarding they're kinda missing... The context. Phelps is the type of asshole that people tend to refer as "our asshole". He was not 'nice' and he was never attempting to mislead people into thinking so. Quite the opposite. He made it as known as possible that he is polarizing, and that skateboarding itself is polarizing. THAT SAID... He wasn't quite 'going out of his way' to specifically ruin someone's day. He is not evil. He is basically the end game level of core lord. The absolute apotheosis of lot lizard. He's...

That was sick. Is it hard to tell where the line is in person, or is that just the lighting and GoPro angle?
