Kneepads at ankles is the way to go and I refuse any other opinion on the matter. I prefer my knees not constantly feeling like they are going to get some form of trenchfoot (trenchknee?)

This is a sad development. Enduro as a sport changed mountain biking for the better. The fact that we are pedaling durable rigs that are nearly as good as DH bikes is a direct result of the EWS and its effect on mtb culture. It seemed to be an uphill battle in that the bikes stopped selling, both because they got to such a good place and [my lawyers have advised me to redact this reason for the death of the enduro bike as a growth sector]. It's an unbelievably vague press release. My first thought was that they were trying to sugarcoat "We're killing the series forever" in positive-sounding corporate-speak, but on second read it's kind of wishy washy and undefined, like maybe the UCI is exploring ways to offload the series to another organizer or multiple organizers, which is what it was all along until Chris Ball sold it to the UCI. The coverage this weekend is pretty similar to how it's been covered all year. Elliott Heap goes out to rip a practice lap and talk through it, 25 minutes of practice highlights, 30 minutes of race highlights per race day, plus some interviews. It's been sick! I'm stoked the coverage is good and I watch a bunch and comment every-so-often to make sure the folks behind the videos know it's appreciated. If everyone commented every time, they'd probably do more which would make companies put more effort back into enduro.

Any chance you have the pic's from that full pipe? I havn't watched the video yet so apologies if its in there. Side question, how many of us are at work, scrolling biking sites and hoping the boss doesn't notice the glazed over look in our eyes. Sick vid! Yes, if you're located in the US, this is the way. If you can't find a dealer that's within driving distance, most shops will happily ship a shoe if they have your size in stock and it's out of stock everywhere else, and Specialized dealers almost always honor the (insanely low) price on the website.
