All of the sudden that Frameworks/Specialized partnership starts to make a little more sense.

BikeYoke did a limited edition dropper with a silver lower tube, now PNW has taken it up a notch with a silver stanchion as well: https://www.pnwcomponents.com/collections/ltd-dropper-posts/products/th…

Thanks for the feedback man! I got it as an ST and because I quite liked the SD Ultimate in it, I got another one for the LT setup. I have to agree with you, maybe it is the mid-stroke. This shock is still in its standard tune with one spacer, so not that progressive. I really like it in full 29er, but loads of rock strikes in slightly more rocky downhills as a mullet. Eventually I'll try another tune for the shock and will give the mullet another go. Cheers man!

Am I the only one who comes directly to the last page and then starts going backwards? Feels like watching Memento, but the plot line is carbon bike killed the mechanical drivetrain

I'm curious about your ground clearance on this @jean_germain. I had my 4060LT as a mullet for a while (flipchip LT and headset in steep) but was getting a lot of pedal strikes with 170mm cranks and the 30% sag. Thanks!

From PB-"I just found out about the allegations. And I have to say, I’m not shocked. There was always something about him that rubbed me the wrong way, even when he was seeing some success, I wasn’t stoked." You see this is the level of informed discourse we should aspire to on here.

Here are links to new Epics and XC Flight Attendant: https://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/bikes/specialized/epic-evo-48446… https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/press-release/rockshoxs-xc-flight-attenda… Disclaimer: I grew up racing downhill, and like most folks on Vital, I prefer gravity-focused bikes/riding. I pedal, but usually as a means to access descents, and I'm typically on 140mm+ bikes. Showing up at an XC press camp with flat pedals and a trail helmet was pretty comical. I figured I'd like the EVO more since I enjoy pushing bikes on descents. But turns out, I really underestimated what XC bikes are capable of, as the Epic blew my doors off. It was fun to check out...

For sure! I did not go out and do a battery-killing ride in each mode to see what those numbers were. If people think that would be valuable, I can go do that, as I still have the bike. I usually got 2-3 rides out of a battery, riding primarily in River and Rocket. Climbs were varied, with some climbs being on smooth trials, while others were punchy and technical. I average around 18-20 miles riding in the higher settings, with 4500-5500ft of climbing. Sometimes I'd kill the battery; sometimes, I'd finish with 10% or less. For comparison, when I...
