2/8/2025 1:39am If you read my post, appearances have nothing to do with what I am saying. It's about safety. A ponytail is open ended, nothing will get caught in it. A braid is 20 loops of strong hair waiting for something to catch and twist your neck. I don't appreciate you trying to rewrite my words to act as a defender of women. I never attacked anyone, so don't attack me.

2/6/2025 12:14pm A GT LaBomba seems like a very good deal right now, the prices are fantastic for a full bike with a revised (reinforced after recall) frame

1/22/2025 1:00am So, if I understood this right, PFR can pretty much just be BK + Jenna, right? They're both top 50 UCI in their categories...

1/21/2025 2:55pm This week on team rumors: IS AMAURY CHEATING ON MAX WITH THE BIG "S"? SHOULD PIVOT HR TALK TO BK? IS KATE COURTNEY'S NEW TRUCK RELIABLE? Now that I have your attention, do we think the other teams would even bother with the belt drive if they knew Rach was possibly returning aboard that Atherton belt drive prototype this season? I know the elite women's field has changed a lot since she was last in the mix. That said, I honestly think Rachel could win pushing a '99 Uzzi this season if that was her ride.

1/21/2025 12:06am No signs of it, quite the contrary, OneUp is taking more and more the place of Burgtec in the Santa Cruz builds.

1/14/2025 3:00pm I think this kinda sums it up - 1. If you're in a top 15 team, you can race. (regardless if you meet other reqs) 2. If you're top 50 for elites or top 100 for juniors, you can race. (regardless if you meet other reqs) 3. If you are the current World/Conti/National Champ, you can race. (regardless if you meet other reqs) 4. If you didn't make any of those, then you either hope to be on a). One of the 5 season wildcard teams b). One of the 8 chosen wildcard teams for that round or c). Your...

1/7/2025 12:41am Really hope BMC doesn't pull the plug on Scor. All bikes get great reviews and one single frame mold has been feeding two different, mx-compatible bikes for a few years now already. Cost structure seems quite low for the quality of what they deliver.

1/7/2025 12:31am I can assure you there's less Capex with their method of manufacturing than the traditional carbon molding methods. Same goes for their alloy frames vs. traditional construction methods. Their unit costs might be a touch higher and might not scale as easily or cost effectively but my assumption is they don't sell enough frames to be successful the traditional way with amortizing tooling costs so it seems they are taking the right approach. Capex can higher on alu projects than carbon ones, but the volumes with alloy make it worthwhile to turn a profit. For all small and medium brands...
