Pretty sure Luca's going into a new DH program with 23degrees with Cami, Benoit and the rest of the remaining Dorval team to re-invigorate Haro with their new VPP version of the Magnum .357 DH bike. But this is put hearsay to take it as you will.

For now, but as the snow gets thinner every year, I think more people will look at those dirty bikes and think "oh I'll have a go" Not to mention as ski seasons get shorter, I do think ski areas will start packaging in summer activities to your seasons pass

Love: Using STRAVA to keep track of miles/hours on my equipment. It helps me stay on top of service intervals. Used to Love: the leaderboards, but I am old now and just getting slower so I don't pay much attention to them anymore. Like: giving my friends kudos on their big rides Dislike: I wish there was an option for shuttle and lift days that would not track elevation gain but instead would focus on the descending numbers

I hate that Strava does not include elevation loss in the data analysis. I consider this an interesting/important metric and would prefer to not leave my device going when riding lifts or using a shuttle. Garmin records and produces the data in Connect so it seems like its a pretty specific choice. Its a small thing but has bothered me since day 1. Everything else is perfectly adequate for my needs. Remember people stay off the Robots Kill List, make the lurkers and fun police earn it and TURN OFF YOUR AGGREGATED DATA USAGE.

I think a lot of people are taking ESO and the UCI's claims that a 30 rider final and tighter times makes for a better fan experience at face value. I can see where they are coming from with these arguments, because they are basing them on other successful sports, but I don't think they're right. One of the most beautiful and compelling things about downhill racing is that there is no 'formula' for success. You can have the perfect bike, the best preparation, the most dialed team infrastructure, and still get beat by someone who just had the raw...

If you're seriously suggesting that the coverage of racing this year has had more of an impact on bike companies than the global economy and recovery from the pandemic you are absolutely dreaming. There have been multiple stories over the past 18-24 months about how companies have been paying more for stock/production/shipping than before, increasing their retail prices dramatically, and forecasting way higher sales and ordering inventory accordingly. I think that was more of a Kenda problem and not as much not feeling it. I haven't seen anyone stay upright on those tires in 15 years. Although once he was on Vee Rubber and the podium again, he was technically........ re-tired
