Right. In my mind, it’s Intense with limited budget, Trek, or Yeti. I will say that with Richie doing a few more WC events this year, maybe Yeti could add another rider to make those expenditures go a little further. But Gwin would be doing them a favor, because I highly doubt they’d pay his normal asking budget. As much as Gwin wants to race, he could probably do a lot of other stuff and pay the bills just fine.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Gwin’s in a bit of a tight spot when you consider that he’s effectively a team owner without a title sponsor and now without his right hand man. Pretty much all of the brands that could afford Gwin are spoken for and I don’t see him slotting into someone else’s program at this point in his career. It would be amazing to see him take over as the yeti factory team for dh but if that doesn’t come together he’s probably going to be riding the frame he got paid to develop, but for free.
